摘要： A “fluid mixer” device that automates the mixing of multiple fluids into a base liquid and the delivery of the mixed liquid according to user-specified parameters with automatic flush-out, full logging and reporting capabilities. The device is comprised of a plurality of modules, each of which is designed for a different environmental setting: (a) the control module, the module with which the user interfaces, is normally located in a dry area, away from both line voltage electricity and fluids; (b) the power module, which supplies power to all modules, is located near 110V-230V single phase line voltage, and thus contains all of the high-voltage gear and interfaces; and (c) the flow module, the bank of controlled liquid mixers, is located in the wet area and uses only low-voltage direct current in its operation.

摘要： A method and system for blending biogas with conventional fuel in which the fuel blend is automatically adjusted for lower biogas flows and methane concentrations by introducing higher concentrations of conventional fuels. The system is able to automatically adjust the fuel blend, thereby eliminating the requirement for manual intervention, and producing a variable blended biogas that can be utilized within existing natural-gas fired combustion units such as boilers, furnaces, heaters, etc., as well as enabling automatic adjustment and operation, maximum usage of biogas, and integration with combustion unit controls. Using all available biogas to provide energy also minimizes the need for flaring unused biogas.

A positive-displacement pump is provided in a region downstream of the plug flow zone as a discharge zone.

The pump system has at least three chambers, where each chamber includes an inlet for fluid intake and an outlet for fluid expulsion, a common outlet channel in fluid communication with the outlet of each chamber, and at least three pistons, where each piston is slidably disposed within one of the chambers. The drive system includes a cam shaft having at least three cam lobes, each having a profile, and at least three cam lobe followers, each in operative connection with one of the cam lobes and adapted to be placed in operative connection with a respective piston. The profile of each of the cam lobes is adapted to provide a transient increase or spike in calculated theoretical output of the pump system to reduce periodic variation in measured output thereof.

The mixing and metering station includes a first set of hydraulic cylinders each of which is connected to one of a plurality of liquid bulk storage containers containing liquid cleaning concentrate, a second hydraulic cylinder connected to a source of water, and a third set of hydraulic cylinders each of which is connected to one of a plurality of liquid chemical additive tanks. Various cleaning solution formulas can be mixed with this system and metered through a single delivery hose. The mixing and metering station may be used at a variety of locations to ultimately provide cleaning solution to on-site individual usage dispensers.

摘要： An apparatus for converting a dry material into a liquid concentrate includes a mixing vessel having an outlet opening, a dispenser for dispensing a predetermined weight of a dry material at a predetermined drop rate onto a predetermined drop location within the vessel, an inlet pipe connectable to a source of liquid for introducing a liquid into the vessel; a sensor for sensing the volume of liquid within the vessel; a pump for supplying a pressurized flow of recirculating liquid to the vessel; and a first, a second and a third agitating nozzle mounted within the vessel. Each agitating nozzle is operative to produce a jet of liquid oriented in a predetermined direction within the vessel. The nozzles are cooperable to generate within the vessel a moving body of liquid into which a dry material dispensed into the vessel is able to dissolve or to disperse.
