    • The spin puzzle includes a plurality of individual spin elements having opposing spaced surfaces and a peripheral edge surface therebetween. Each element has a circular axial opening and a thin lip positioned about the axial opening on one surface of the spin element and extending away therefrom, the other opposing surface having a recess about the axial opening into which a lip from an adjacent element can fit so that the two elements abut in axial alignment. Also positioned on one opposing surface of each element are a plurality of spaced, raised rib portions, each rib portion being rounded, elongated and relatively narrow. In the other opposing surface are matching cavities into which the rib portions from an adjacent element can fit, thus providing a rotational indexing capability for each element.

    • A puzzle comprises a plurality of puzzle elements held together along a common axis. Each of the puzzle elements includes first and second faces and a peripheral edge. A series of discrete symbols are formed along the peripheral edge of each element. Preferably, the puzzle elements are magnetic wheels held together by magnetic forces. The magnetic wheels have a series of protuberances on one face which are adapted to register with a series of cavities on an opposing face of an adjacent magnetic wheel. The magnetic wheels are rotated relative to each through a series of click-stops which correspond to discrete positions of the magnetic wheels. A solution is achieved when all of the symbols on each of the magnetic wheels are properly aligned.

    • The three-dimensional puzzle extends over the side surfaces of an upright prism having a polygonal base surface. The puzzle is composed of at least two parts (A, B) which are coaxially rotatable (a) relative to each other. The rotation (a) can be manually performed in both directions and each corresponding position of the side faces is marked by a locking engagement between the two parts (A, B). Plaques (1) are slidably (v, h) disposed in a vertical double row on each side face. These plaques (1) cover the full side face.
