    • A pair of spaced-apart, parallel rings is provided, with each ring provided with a plurality of semicircular loop portions pivotally connected to the respective ring about its circumference. Each ring has two sets of a plurality of semicircular loops, a first outer set that is pivotal in a first direction away from the other ring, and a second inner set that is pivotally connected to the first set of loops of the other ring. The loops of each set are arranged in an overlapping manner, so that when one of the loops is rotated, all of the loops of that set are concurrently rotated. Since the inner sets of loops of the two rings are pivotally interconnected, rotation of any loop of either of the two second inner sets will concurrently rotate the other loops of the second inner sets. Rotation of these loops of the second inner sets is achieved by drawing closer the two rings or by pulling them apart. The two first outer sets of loops are free to rotate in either direction.

    • A unique game called Lightyear is described which is about space in which players play games of strategy, rescue, conquest, discovery, trivia and the like. The game may be realized as a board game as well as a computer game playable on one computer or using a network of computers connected using Internet or other wired or wireless networks. The board game version of Lightyear comprises of a game board with all the planets of the solar system drawn and laid out in a unique way on the board around the sun. The game board further comprises of one or more orbits around the sun. The orbits may be oval or circular or any other shape. There may be connectors between the orbits. The players play the specific version of the game on this board with play astronauts and play spaceships. The Lightyear rescue game may be played where the players setup an astronaut on each planet except Earth and race with each other using the rules of the game, to rescue astronauts to Earth from all the planets before losing their resources. The first person to rescue all their astronauts wins the game. The Lightyear conquest game may involve players playing a game of space conquest, where each player may start either from Earth or from their base space station on Pluto or any other planet, with a goal to get their astronauts on most planets. Once the bases are established the players may engage in space battle using rolling dice or drawing battle zone cards or the like to try to gain dominance over the entire solar system.

    • A strategy board game is disclosed. The board for the game is typically comprised of a grid with a plurality of squares or spaces. The center square or space is called nullbase zeronull. First, second, third, and fourth sets of the squares or spaces can be called first, second, third, and fourth nullrunwaysnull, respectively. The runways are next to base zero. Fifth, sixth, seventh, and eight sets of the squares or spaces can be called first, second, third, and fourth nullareasnull. The game typically includes pieces, known as nullstarsnull which after being fixed into a position at a particular space in an area, do not move for the duration of the game. The game also typically includes movable pieces known as nullspaceshipsnull which move a number of spaces on the board with a roll of dice. To win the game, typically a player must conquer all the stars, which are located within an area by landing on the stars with one of his or her spaceships.
