    • A unique game called Lightyear is described which is about space in which players play games of strategy, rescue, conquest, discovery, trivia and the like. The game may be realized as a board game as well as a computer game playable on one computer or using a network of computers connected using Internet or other wired or wireless networks. The board game version of Lightyear comprises of a game board with all the planets of the solar system drawn and laid out in a unique way on the board around the sun. The game board further comprises of one or more orbits around the sun. The orbits may be oval or circular or any other shape. There may be connectors between the orbits. The players play the specific version of the game on this board with play astronauts and play spaceships. The Lightyear rescue game may be played where the players setup an astronaut on each planet except Earth and race with each other using the rules of the game, to rescue astronauts to Earth from all the planets before losing their resources. The first person to rescue all their astronauts wins the game. The Lightyear conquest game may involve players playing a game of space conquest, where each player may start either from Earth or from their base space station on Pluto or any other planet, with a goal to get their astronauts on most planets. Once the bases are established the players may engage in space battle using rolling dice or drawing battle zone cards or the like to try to gain dominance over the entire solar system.

    • A board game wherein the players state in advance of their turn any words they choose to form, then state their choice to roll both dice to maneuver the game board with their game piece or to roll one die to pick the corresponding number of lettered squares. A player must earn twenty points in any form before using the point board. The player earns their choice of point chips for later usage or pegs for the point board for forming words. A player must fill each section on the point board before the player proceeds with the game piece to the corresponding level on the game board. A player must complete all other sections on the point board before completing the final section, where the player must form five words of any length, only one per turn, to complete the final section and win the game.

    • A round strategy board game for three players played on three rings with sixteen balls of three sizes and four colors. Each player places one playing piece per turn upon an unoccupied playing position. Once all playing pieces are on the board the players may then move their playing pieces according to the proper order of play. Positional play is of the most importance since playing pieces are never eliminated but “bumped” to other playing positions. The game ends when all playing pieces that are of the same size as the playing piece occupying the center of the board, have an unobstructed path along an implied diameter to the playing piece occupying the center of the board. When the game ends, the positions of the playing pieces determine an eliminated player.

    • A method of playing a board game related to brewing procedures and the science of brewing. The game includes a board having an endless path divided into a plurality of continuous spaces including a starting space and spaces with indicia upon them corresponding to hops, barley, yeast, brewing science and speciality beer styles. At least two players start by moving their playing pieces along a path according to a roll of the die. Upon landing on a space, a player must pick a card corresponding to that space. The card may require the player to correctly answer a question or may award or hinder his progress in the game. If the card requires an answer, which is correctly answered, the player is allowed to roll again and continue around the board. Upon passing the starting point the player is awarded a piece of brewery equipment. Players continue collecting brewing equipment while moving around the board. Play is terminated when a player receives all of the equipment necessary to operate a brewery.
