摘要： A disposable absorbent article of a brief or pull-up type incorporates a breathable laminate material composed of two layers. The laminate is an elastic material and may include non-elastic portions created by deactivating the material. The laminate material may be made breathable by the ultrasonic bonding process used to create the laminate. A third layer is adhered or bonded to the laminate and with leg elastics positioned between the laminate that the third layer. The absorbent article includes an absorbent assembly that overlaps with the non-elastic portions of the laminate.

摘要： The present invention is directed to articles comprising nanofibers. Preferred articles include diapers, training pants, adult incontinence pads, catamenials products such as feminine care pads and pantiliners, tampons, personal cleansing articles, personal care articles, and personal care wipes including baby wipes, facial wipes, body wipes, and feminine wipes. The nanofiber webs can be used as a barrier, wipe, absorbent material, and other uses.The nanofibers, having a diameter of less than 1 micron, must comprise a significant number of the fibers in at least one nanofiber layer of the nonwoven web. The nonwoven web may have a hydrohead to basis weight ratio of greater than about 10 mbar/gsm. The nanofibers may be produced from a melt film fibrillation process.

摘要： A liner for incontinence includes a skin contact side sheet, a non-skin contact side sheet, and an absorbent body arranged between these sheets and including an absorbent material. The absorbent material includes 30 to 70 mass % of SAP. The liner includes a main body and wings in an intermediate region of the main body. An SAP basis weight in the intermediate region is larger than in front and rear regions of the main body. The main body includes a front compressed region which is positioned between the intermediate region and the front region immediately in front of a urinating position (UP) of a wearer when worn, side compressed regions which extend from the intermediate region to the front region and rear region, respectively, and a rear compressed region which extends in the rear region in substantially the width direction. At the compressed regions, the absorbent body is continuous.

In yet another embodiment, a disposable garment may be provided so that after urination, the entire garment may be thrown away.

摘要： A launderable and reusable, leak-proof, breathable fabric and, more specifically, a composite fabric comprised of a liquid absorptive layer and a liquid impervious but vapor permeable layer. Such fabric is useful in drawing fluids, such as bodily fluids, away from a source, such as the body, and retaining them within the absorptive layer while evaporation thereof takes place though the vapor permeable layer. This material consists of two juxtaposed layers. The inner layer has the characteristic of being liquid permeable so as to allow the body fluids to flow into it and be absorbed. The outer layer has the characteristic of being liquid impermeable but air or vapor permeable, so that the liquid absorbed in the inner layer does not strike through the outer layer.
