摘要： A garment for reducing odor includes material arranged to form at least one of a shirt, a jacket, pants, socks, gloves, a hunting mask, and a hat. The garment has a layer including at least a portion of the at least one of the shirt, the jacket, pants, socks, gloves, the hunting mask, and the hat and a combination of odor-controlling materials provided with the layer. The combination of odor-controlling materials has (a) a first odor-controlling material, the first odor-controlling material including a physical adsorbent and (b) a second odor-controlling material, the second odor-controlling material including an odor neutralizer. The combination of odor-controlling materials is configured to adsorb and neutralize a percentage of odors that engage the layer.

In one embodiment, the wearable resistive equipment is designed to include built-in resistance bands with end-clasping members for affixing to an external apparatus. In other embodiments the wearable resistive equipment is designed to include built-in resistance bands that can extend to various positions on a user's upper or lower legs. In yet other embodiments, the wearable resistive equipment is designed to include built-in resistance bands that extend upward toward the lower mid-section of a body for abdominal training.

摘要： A method for inhibiting fungal and bacterial infections of the foot enables a foot to be covered with a flexible, waterproof sheath while an upper region of the body is being washed. The sheath is donned on the foot before the upper region of the body is washed, so as to protect against carriers of the fungal contaminants, such as liquids, debris, and soap that flow towards the foot. The sheath is sufficiently sized and dimensioned, so as to snugly encapsulate the foot, and thereby inhibit moisture, soap, fungus, and bacterium that originate at the upper regions of the body from engaging the foot, anywhere from the ankle to the toes. The method enables the entirety of the foot to be covered with the sheath through a simple tugging motion. After washing the upper region of the body, the sheath is urged off the foot, and the foot is washed independently.

The clothing is suitable for use by patients having skin inflammations, has a comfortable texture using a knitted fabric that is light and has a high elongation rate, and does not allow seepage of medicaments or infusions.

摘要： A Wearable Orthopedic/Orthotic Device for Diagnostics and therapy of an equine limb comprises a soft tissue compression material and a sheet of stretchable laminate material for soft tissue compression and bracing. The device includes a stretchable, porous and breathable polyurethane membrane to allow a certain degree of perspiration and heat to escape while retaining a therapeutic amount of heat. The device includes an intelligent textile layer, including fibertronics, organic electronics, other forms of e-textiles and sensors. For monitoring parameters associated with sports related, repetitive use, occupational and mechanical injuries for rehabilitation treatment and prevention of tendon and ligament injuries in sub-clinical time periods. The intelligent textile pertains generally to monitoring of joint and soft tissues that support a joint of a human or animal body. The device may include an acoustic sensor for detecting the speed and frequency of sound traveling through underlying tissue onto which an acoustic signal is emitted. In a diagnostic monitoring method, parameters associated with the health tissue of the equine limb and body is wirelessly transmitted by the device to an external receiver for analysis.

摘要： The invention concerns a polymeric antimicrobial composition, a method of producing the same and the uses thereof. The ionomer composition comprises an amine functional polymer compound reacted with silver halide, optionally together with a stabilizing component, such as an organic substance carrying a sulfonamide functional group. The ionomer composition can be obtained by reacting together (i) at least one polyamine and silver halide and optionally at least one organic stabilizer substance or; (ii) at least one polyamine, at least one non-halide silver salt or silver complex, hydrogen halide and/or alkaline metal halide salt and optionally at least one organic stabilizer substance. The present ionomer composition is suitable for use as an antimicrobial coating, antimicrobial finish, antimicrobial additive and as antimicrobial component for formation of new antimicrobial materials.
