摘要： Heated socks used to keep a wearer's feet and toes warm. The heated socks include pockets for oxygen-activated chemical heating pouches which generate heat when exposed to air and via friction caused by the wearer when walking, jumping, or other activities and distributed through the sock from toe to ankle to heel. The heated socks are provided with extra cushioning on the bottom of the feet to aid in comfort for the wearer. The heated socks also keep the feet dry from moisture and perspiration.

A footwear member may have an exterior surface defining an exterior of the footwear member, an internal surface defining an internal cavity sized to receive the foot and at least portions of the removable membrane, and a footwear size. The removable membrane may be made of a non-rigid, disposable, resilient material that is impermeable to water. The removable membrane may have a membrane exterior surface, a membrane interior surface, and a membrane size corresponding to the footwear size. The removable membrane configured to conform to a shape and a size of the foot. The method may include providing a footwear assembly including a footwear member and a removable membrane, placing the provided membrane over the foot, and positioning the removable membrane with the foot inserted therein within the boot.

The open toe section is defined by a plurality of attached toe separators, each of which is to be positioned between the toes and fastened in place on the top on a wearer's foot so as to allow the toes to be separated and extend outside of the sock when the rest of the foot is inside the sock. The full front opening/closure and toe separators allow for easy removal of the sock so as not to disturb the pedicure when the sock is removed.

摘要： The Improved Sock is made of yarns knitted into a foot and calf, with graduated compression on an individual's foot from the foot to the calf. The yarns can include wool and alpaca fibers. A substantial proportion of wool and/or alpaca are on the inside of the sock so as to be in direct contact with the skin and wound. The Improved Sock provides absorption and wicking of inflammatory mediators, bacteria and biofilm and necrotic exudate from the foot and leg. The Improved Sock has AgNP shapes electrostatically bonded to the yarn. At least 30% of the mass of the AgNP shapes attached to the fibers have a shape selected from the group consisting of truncated triangular plates (a triangle with the corners rounded off), triangular prisms, discs and combinations of two or more of them. The Improved Sock functions as a unique wound dressing with the sock in direct contact with the wound.
