摘要： A large round baler, designed as a non-stop baler, includes a mobile chassis supporting a lower baling chamber section, defined by a floor conveyor arrangement, and an upper baling chamber section. The upper baling chamber section, together with opposite side walls, is mounted for fore-and-aft movement relative to the lower baling chamber section between a rear location, wherein it cooperates with the floor conveyor arrangement to define a rear baling chamber, and a front location wherein it cooperates with the floor conveyor arrangement to define a front baling chamber. The upper chamber section includes front and rear wall portions which are mounted for being raised once a bale is formed in the rear baling chamber so that the upper section may be moved to its forward location. A wrapping device is provided which is operable once the upper chamber section is moved to its front location, for wrapping the bale with overlapping wraps of sheeting made from plastic or the like so as to provide an air tight casing for the crop material so as to make silage.

摘要： An integrated large round baler and wrapping device has a baling chamber defined by separate upper and lower housing sections, which meet at a substantially horizontal plane. The upper housing section is mounted for being elevated and guided vertically relative to the lower housing section such that a gap of substantially equal height is formed between the bottom of the upper housing section and the horizontal plane. A bale wrapping arrangement is provided for wrapping, with plastic foil or sheet or the like, the entire surface a bale located the baling chamber when the upper housing section is elevated. The lower housing section includes a bale-supporting roller section which is mounted for downward movement so as to discharge a wrapped bale.

The first wrapping station includes a dispenser for dispensing a strip of plastic film and a device for rotating the dispenser about a substantially vertical axis around the bale. The second wrapping station includes a device for rotating the bale about a substantially horizontal axis and a dispenser for dispensing wrapping material around the bale as it is turned on the horizontal axis. A compaction station is provided to compact loose material into the bale before wrapping.

摘要： A pressing and baling machine (1) for compression of vegetable fibres into a compressed round bale (7) comprises a frame (2), on which is assembled a pressing chamber (5, 6) equipped on its internal circumference with rotatable rolls (15) for rotation and pressing of the bale (7). The pressing chamber (5, 6) consists of a lower chamber part (5) and an upper chamber part (6) which are displaceable in relation to each other so as to free an area of the bale (7) allowing the body to be packaged in elastic plastic foil. The lower pressing chamber part (5) is connected to a lower frame section (3). The upper chamber part (6) is connected to an upper frame section (4), and two frame sections (3, 4) are displaceably interconnected. The upper chamber part (6) is rotatably supported in relation to the frame (2) around a vertical axis (9) when the chamber parts are at a distance from each other. At least one retaining arm (11) is attached to the pressing chamber part (7) for a roll (13) of packaging material, for packaging of the bale (7), so that the retaining arm (7) rotates with the upper chamber part (6) and during rotation issues packaging material to the bale (7).

摘要： A combined baling and wrapping apparatus for use in picking up crop material lying on the ground, forming the material into a bale, and applying stretched film wrapping to enclose the bale, said apparatus comprising: a frame; a film reel carrier mounted on the frame to rotate around the bale, said carrier extending at least partly around the bale when seen in plan view; a guide mounted on the frame and defining an orbital path of movement for the carrier around the bale; and, at least one holder for a film dispenser reel mounted on said carrier and rotatable around the bale during rotation of the carrier so that, when a bale has been formed in the chamber and the housing has been moved to the inoperative position, a dispenser reel, when mounted on the carrier, can apply stretch film wrapping to the bale simultaneously with rotation of the bale by the lower bale-forming means.
