    • A data management apparatus, data management method, data processing method, and program that enable a high degree of security against leakage or loss of personal information to be achieved. A data management apparatus (100) sets a division range for dividing personal information into identification information that enables a specific individual to be identified and attribute information that does not by itself enable a specific individual to be identified in accordance with a user specification, and a CPU (101) performs first division of personal information into identification information and attribute information in accordance with the division range specified by the user, performs second division of identification information that has undergone first division into a plurality of fragments for which data processing is possible, and furthermore generates linkage key information for restoring the divided identification information, attribute information, and plurality of fragments to the original personal information, and executes data storage processing that stores the identification information, attribute information, and plurality of fragments in an external storage apparatus (107) and linkage key information in a nonvolatile auxiliary storage apparatus (104).

    • A sacrificial specimen for use in monitoring a long-term stress intensity of a structure including a main body made of a metal and having an artificial crack formed at a central region thereof, and a pair of metal or synthetic resin thin plates each having a slit formed at a central region, said pair of thin plates being cemented together with interposing the main body therebetween such that said artificial crack is exposed outside through the slits. The sacrificial specimen is cemented onto a structure whose long-term stress intensity has to be monitored such that a central portion corresponding to the central regions of the main body and thin plates is not secured to the structure surface. When the sacrificial specimen is subjected to stress, the slits formed in the thin plates are deformed largely and a fatigue crack is produced in the main body such that the fatigue crack extends from the artificial crack. Stress applied to the sacrificial specimen is amplified and fatigue due to the amplified stress is accumulated in the sacrificial specimen, the long-term stress intensity of the structure can be monitored accurately.

    • A sacrificial specimen for use in monitoring fatigue damage of a structural member including a main body made of the same material of the structural member and having an artificially formed crack at a central region thereof, and first and second thin epoxy resin plates cemented to both surfaces of the main body by an epoxy resin adhesive agent except for the central region. The main body is made by a thin metal plate having a thickness of 0.25 mm. In order to keep the central region of the main body free from the adhesive agent, a synthetic resin film is wound around the central region of the main body. The sacrificial specimen is secured to a surface of the structural member by means of an epoxy resin adhesive agent. A condition of fatigue crack growth at the artificially formed crack is monitored by a microscope, and fatigue crack of the structural member can be predicted from the monitored condition.
