    • The present invention has an object to provide an electric bending endoscope apparatus with a configuration which is always capable of securing favorable operability at a time of using an endoscope without placing a weight burden on an operator when operating the endoscope, and for the purpose, the electric bending endoscope apparatus includes at least an electric bending endoscope that is configured by an elongated insertion portion which is inserted into a body cavity, a bending drive section which electrically drives a part of the insertion portion to bend, and an operation portion configured to be separate from the bending drive section and electrically connected to the bending drive section, and performs observation and treatment of an inside of the body cavity, a system controller which is electrically connected to the electric bending endoscope and centrally controls the electric bending endoscope, and an endoscope holding device configured by a bending drive unit which contains the bending drive section and holds a part of the electric bending endoscope, and an arm portion which is connected to the bending drive unit and holds the bending drive unit, and is configured such that by the bending drive unit being attachably and detachably connected to a proximal end side of the insertion portion, the electric bending endoscope and the bending drive section are electrically connected.

    • An apparatus for supporting a medical instrument includes an arm, which has a support portion to support a medical instrument at one end, and an intermediate portion of which is supported by a base portion via a support column. The arm moves the support portion horizontally and vertically. The apparatus also includes a rotary connecting member, which is provided at a second end of the arm and moves to a position corresponding to a position to which the support portion has been moved. The apparatus further includes a counterweight, which is connected to the support column to be immovable in the horizontal directions and movable in the vertical directions, and generates vertically downward force. The rotary connecting member is connected to the counterweight so as to be movable in the horizontal directions relative to the counterweight and movable in the vertical directions together with the counterweight.

    • The present invention provides an electric bending endoscope device which has an endoscope supporting device. The endoscope supporting device is provided with an electric bending unit and an insertion portion detachably configured in a state that an electric bending endoscope is always supported to improve an efficiency of an operation to be performed before and after an inspection and to reduce the work or burdens of the users, and in the state that the endoscope is being supported, the endoscope can be used, and similarly, the supporting device can be stored in the state that the endoscope is being supported. For the purpose, the electric bending endoscope device includes an endoscope 11 having an observation function and a treatment function of the inside of a body cavity, and an endoscope supporting device 40 having a first moving member (hinge 46) capable of moving up and down the endoscope in a direction perpendicular to a floor, a second moving member (arm movable portion 43 and slide guide 44) capable of moving the endoscope in a horizontal direction with respect to the floor, a first supporting portion (bearing portion 42a) for permitting the endoscope to rotate around an axis and supporting the endoscope, and a second supporting portion (supporting portion 42) for supporting the endoscope movably in vertical and horizontal directions.
