    • A file management method, whereby inconsistencies can be prevented between a file recorded in a memory card and the file management information that a terminal apparatus manages, without leaking the information of a file made and stored in an in-card processing system. According to this method, a flash memory accessible from two processing systems 100 and 300 is provided. First processing system 100 requests a reservation of an use area of flash memory 200a to second processing system 300, which, upon receiving the request, implements a reservation processing for an area of the memory section and reflects the information of the reserve area upon file management section 230. First processing system 100 performs the processing of writing data into the area reserved by second processing system 300. Inconsistencies between the file management information that a terminal manages and a file actually recorded into the memory section of a secure card can be prevented. Furthermore, exclusive control can be implemented, whereby there will be no direct access from a terminal to the area used for a card-dedicated file recorded therein by means of processing that takes place inside the card.

    • The present application is to make an information storage device (card) with a plurality of communication functions perform a process by one of the communication functions in cooperation with another process performed by the other communication function. A card 30 includes contactless communication means and contact communication means so as to execute only one of a process using contactless communication and a process using contact communication at one and the same time. The card 30 further includes processing means 33 and status change means 31. The processing means 33 executes processes by contactless communication and contact communication. The status change means 31 gives a response, in terms of an execution status of a contactless communication process, when the status change means 31 receives a check request command for inquiring a condition of the contactless communication process from a card supervision portion 12 through the contact communication means. The status change means 31 sends the processing means 33 an instruction to change the process of the processing means 33 to a contact communication process if the processing means 33 is not engaging in execution of the contactless communication process when the status change means 31 receives a change request command for giving an instruction to change the process of the processing means 33 to the contact communication process from the card supervision portion 12. It is therefore possible to make the card perform the process by contact communication in cooperation with the process using contactless communication.

    • An object of the invention is to provide a memory device that is capable of writing large-capacity data into and reading them from a secure area within a short time. A memory device 10 provided by the invention is furnished with: a memory area 51 directly inaccessible from an electronic device 60; a secure control section 42 that manages access to this memory area 51; and a device control section 20 that communicates with the electronic device and transfers a request of the electronic device to the secure control section 42. The secure control section 42 temporarily delegates, to a device control section 20, 21, access rights to the memory area 51 if there is a write/read request of large capacity data from an authenticated electronic device 60, and the device control section 21 to which this access rights have been delegated writes/reads data sent from the electronic device 60 into/from the memory area 51 by burst transfer. Because of burst transfer of data, the number of times of command interchange reduces, making the process faster.

    • It is an object of the invention to provide a memory device including a memory area having a large storage capacity and an equal security level to that of a Smart card. A semiconductor memory card 10 that can be attached to and detached from an electronic device is provided with first memory 50 of non-tamper-resistance having usual areas 52 and 53 that can be accessed from the electronic device and a secure area 51 that cannot directly be accessed from the electronic device, and second memory 41 of tamper resistance that cannot directly be accessed from the electronic device, wherein access to the secure area 51 of the first memory 50 can be made only through a secure control section 30 for managing access to the second memory 41. The secure area 51 cannot directly be accessed by an external device and therefore has the higher security level than the authentication area 52. Since the secure area 51 is placed in the non-tamper-resistant memory 50, a large storage capacity can be reserved.

    • A concrete composition contains, per 1 m.sup.3 of the concrete composition, powders of normal portland cement, high-early strength Portland cement, and an inorganic material, in a total weight of from 400 to 600 kg; a formalin condensation product of melamine sulfonate in an amount of from 0.1 to 2.5 wt % based on the total weight of the powders; a hardening accelerator in an amount of from 0.01 to 1.50 wt % based on the total weight of the powders; and water, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate. The mixing ratio of the powers is so specified that the powder of high-early strength portland cement is in a range of from 20 to 500 parts by weight and the powder of an inorganic material is in a range of from 20 to 500 parts by weight on the basis of the powder of normal portland cement of 100 parts by weight. The water, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate are mixed in such a mixing ratio as to give a slump flow value ranging from 50 to 70 cm to the concrete composition. The concrete composition exhibits a high initial strength and enables preferable concrete placing or molding without compactness using a vibrator, tamper, wooden hammer or the like.
