摘要： A paper-transporting apparatus is used for transporting recording paper. A paper-transporting device is movable between a loading position where the paper-transporting unit has been completely attached into a chassis and an unloading position where the paper-transporting unit has been completely drawn out of the chassis. A guide member that supports the paper-transporting device and guides the paper-transporting device between the loading position and the unloading position. The paper-transporting device has a cover and a frame that cooperate with each other to form a paper path in which a recording paper is advanced. When the paper-transporting device is at the loading position, a positioning device holds the cover at a certain position with respect to the frame. When the paper-transporting device is at the unloading position, the positioning device does not hold the cover at the certain position with respect to the frame.

摘要： A medium transporting apparatus transports a medium along a predetermined transport path. A medium-transporting section is movable between a loading position and an unloading position and has a first transport path. A medium-holding section is movable between the loading position and the unloading position, holds a stack of medium therein, and has a second transport path continuous to the first transport path. A first locking mechanism locks the medium-transporting section to the loading position and unlocks the medium-transporting section from the loading position. A coupling mechanism brings the medium-transporting section and the medium-holding section into coupled engagement with each other and brings the medium-transporting section and the medium-holding section out of coupled engagement with each other. When the first locking mechanism unlocks the medium-transporting section from the loading position, the coupling mechanism brings the medium-transporting section and the medium-holding section into coupled engagement with each other.

Upon detection of control data in any one of a plurality of component carriers, component carrier information, a preamble number, and random access channel information are extracted from the control data, and if the extracted information indicates dedicated preamble transmission, a random access channel position to be used is selected from information on random access of a component carrier specified in the component carrier information and the random access channel information, a random access preamble is generated from the information on random access and the dedicated preamble number, and the random access preamble is transmitted at the random access channel position.

A mobile station device includes a path loss calculation unit 4051 configured to calculate path losses, each based on one of a plurality of types of reference signals received by a reception processing unit 401, a transmit power setting unit 4053 configured to set a desired transmit power for an uplink signal using the path losses calculated by the path loss calculation unit 4051, and a power headroom control unit 4055 configured to generate a power headroom using the desired transmit power set by the transmit power setting unit 4053, the power headroom being information concerning transmit power to spare, and configured to control transmission of the power headroom. The power headroom control unit 4055 independently controls a power headroom transmission process that uses each of the path losses calculated based on the plurality of types of reference signals, using an independent parameter for each power headroom transmission process.

摘要： In a communication system including multiple mobile station apparatuses and at least one base station apparatus, the base station apparatus efficiently controls transmission of an uplink signal to the mobile station apparatuses. A path loss calculator calculates path loss on the basis of a reference signal received by a reception processing unit. A transmit power setter sets desired transmit power of an uplink signal using the path loss calculated by the path loss calculator. Additionally, a power head room controller generates power head room that is information concerning a margin of the transmit power using the desired transmit power set in the transmit power setter to control transmission of the power head room. The power head room controller determines to transmit the power head room upon switching of a kind of the reference signal used in the calculation in the path loss calculator.
