摘要： Methods, systems, and devices provide improved proximity services. In one aspect, a base station includes an information generating module and an information transmission module. The information generating module generates control information for causing a mobile device to initiate a discovery signal transmission procedure. The discovery signal transmission procedure allows the mobile device to be discovered. The information transmission module transmits the control information to the mobile device. In another aspect, a mobile device includes an information receiving module, a control module, and a signal transmission module. The information receiving module receives control information. The control module initiates a discovery signal transmission procedure for proximity services responsive to the information receiving module receiving the control information. The discovery signal transmission procedure includes generating a discovery signal allowing the mobile device to be discovered. The signal transmission module broadcasts the discovery signal.

摘要： A random access instructed by a base station apparatus and having a small delay is enabled in Advanced-EUTRA system. Upon detection of control data in any one of a plurality of component carriers, component carrier information, a preamble number, and random access channel information are extracted from the control data, and if the extracted information indicates dedicated preamble transmission, a random access channel position to be used is selected from information on random access of a component carrier specified in the component carrier information and the random access channel information, a random access preamble is generated from the information on random access and the dedicated preamble number, and the random access preamble is transmitted at the random access channel position.

This allows a mobile station apparatus to transmit reception quality info information including a large amount of information even if there is no uplink data between the mobile station apparatus and the base station apparatus, and the transmission control flexibly responding to the amount of information and the frequency of transmissions of the reception quality information transmitted from the mobile station apparatus is possible.

摘要： Methods, systems, and devices provide improved power control for signals used for device-to-device services. In one aspect, a user equipment (“UE”) terminal controls the transmission power of signals used for device-to-device (“D2D”) services based on power control parameters provided by a base station. The UE terminal includes a first power control module for controlling a first transmission power to be applied to signals used for communication with a base station. The UE terminal also includes a second power control module for controlling a second transmission power to be applied to signals used for D2D services. The first and second transmission powers can be determined based on at least one power control parameter received from the base station. The UE terminal also includes a signal transceiver module for transmitting signals used for uplink/downlink communications using the first transmission power and transmitting signals used for D2D services using the second transmission power.

A mobile station device includes: a frame-type determining unit that determines the type of each of received sub-frames based on the first-type sub-frame candidate information and the scheduling information; and a control data detector that detects, for each sub-frame, the control data including the items corresponding to the type indicated by the result of the determination by the frame-type determining unit. Accordingly, the processing load on reception of control data is reduced.
