    • A stacked semiconductor device has three-dimensional alternate layers of iconductor elements and insulating layers each electrically insulating the adjacent upper and lower layers of semiconductor elements, formed on a single crystal semiconductor substrate. A semiconductor is deposited in openings formed respectively in the insulating layers to form single crystal semiconductor layers each having the same crystal axis as the single crystal semiconductor substrate respectively over the insulating layers, and semiconductor elements are formed respectively in a plurality of layers. The opening formed through the upper insulating layer reaches the lower layer of the semiconductor element immediately below the same upper insulating layer, and is formed at a position spaced apart horizontally from the opening formed through the lower insulating layer immediately below the same upper insulating layer. A semiconductor for forming the upper layer of a semiconductor having the same crystal axis as the lower layer of a semiconductor is deposited in the opening of the upper insulating layer so that satisfactory lateral epitaxial growth will occur over the insulating layer.

    • A rotor core for a rotary electric machine includes a plurality of ring-shaped core plates. The core plates are formed by joining arc-shaped segments. The core plate segments each include a protruding portion that is formed on one surface of each of the segments and has an end in the circumferential direction that is arc-shaped, and a recessed portion that is formed on the other surface and has an end in the circumferential direction that is arc-shaped, and to which the protruding portion of the core plate segment of another layer is fitted when the core plates are laminated. An interference fit is provided between the protruding portion width of the core plates and the recessed portion of the core plates in the radial direction and a loose fit is provided in the circumferential direction.

    • The present invention aims to provide a method for producing, by a simple method, drug-containing wax matrix granules, particularly drug-containing wax matrix granules having an average particle diameter of 1 mm or lower, while avoiding liquid blockage due to the recrystallization of a molten drug during the period from a melting step to a spray step.Drug-containing wax matrix granules having at least one wax and at least one drug are produced by the following steps (i) and (ii): (i) supplying the at least one drug and the at least one wax to an extruder in which the temperature of a barrel and the temperature of a die are adjusted to be higher than the melting point of the at least one wax; and (ii) while melting and kneading the at least one drug and the at least one wax in the extruder to give a molten kneaded drug and wax, spraying the molten kneaded drug and wax into an atmosphere having a temperature lower than the melting point of the wax from a spray nozzle directly mounted onto a die provided at a top end of the barrel of the extruder, thereby forming the mixture into granules.
