    • There is provided a functional panel that can be joined and disassembled with ease by solving problems with a functional panel including electrical conductors integrally molded therewith, causing occurrence of cracking on the surface thereof, or cracking of a molded unit around the periphery of the electrical conductor, thereby rendering the electrical conductor susceptible to a break when a flexural load, an impact load, and so forth, acts on the functional panel. The functional panel comprises a main body of a panel member, an electrical conductor coated with a semi-cured resin having heat resistance and insulation properties, and a reinforcing fiber having a continuous filament, for fixing the electrical conductor to the main body of the panel member to thereby provide enhancement, and the functional panel is formed by exposing one end, and the other end of the electrical conductor from respective end faces of the panel member formed by integral molding.

    • Provided is a method of producing a pneumatic tire where occurrence of blisters caused by trapped air is prevented even if a thermoplastic resin film is used as an air permeation prevention layer. The method includes: wrapping a thermoplastic resin film (6) around a making drum (20); winding an unvulcanized tie-rubber sheet (7) on the thermoplastic resin film (6) in a manner that a winding start portion (7a) and a winding end portion (7b) of the tie-rubber sheet (7) are overlapped with each other; and thereafter winding a carcass layer (5) on the tie-rubber sheet (7). In the method, an unvulcanized auxiliary rubber sheet (9) is bonded onto the winding start portion (7a) of the tie-rubber sheet (7) so as to project in a circumferential direction, and then the tie-rubber sheet (7) is wound in a manner that the winding end portion (7b) of the tie-rubber sheet (7) is stacked on the auxiliary rubber sheet (9).

    • Provided is a method of producing a pneumatic tire, which prevents occurrence of blisters caused by trapped air when a thermoplastic resin film is used as an air permeation prevention layer, and particularly, a method suitable for producing a heavy-duty pneumatic tire. The method of producing a pneumatic tire includes: wrapping a thermoplastic resin film 6 around a making drum 20; winding an unvulcanized tie-rubber sheet 7 on the thermoplastic resin film 6; splicing a winding start portion and a winding end portion of the tie-rubber sheet with each other; and thereafter winding a carcass layer on the tie-rubber sheet 7. In the method, a splice of the tie-rubber sheet is made to be a butt-splice, and an unvulcanized auxiliary rubber sheet 9 is interposed between the tie-rubber sheet 7 and the thermoplastic resin film 6, along a joint 7c of the butt-splice.
