摘要： An endoscope includes an operating portion placed outside a living body, an insertion portion having a proximal end portion coupled to the operating portion, a distal end portion inserted in the living body, and an instrument insertion channel extending through the insertion portion, a raising mechanism having an operation wire and designed to direct the distal end portion of an instrument, caused to extend through the channel, to a predetermined position, and an operation means for operating the operation wire. The endoscope includes a distal end body portion arranged at the distal end portion of the insertion portion and incorporating an observation means for observing the interior of the living body, a support member for forming at least a portion of the outer surface of the distal end portion. The support member is detachable from the distal end body portion. The endoscope further includes a raising base which is supported on the support member such that the angle at which the raising base is arranged can be adjusted. The angle of the raising base is adjusted by the operation wire. The operation wire is detachable from the operation means.

摘要： An electronic endoscope apparatus provided with an electronic endoscope having arranged thereon a solid-state image pickup element at an insertion portion, and external devices such as a light source device for supplying an illumination light to the electronic endoscope, a video processor for processing an electrical signal transmitted from the solid-state image pickup element of the electronic endoscope to produce a video signal. An electrical connection portion for electrically connecting the electronic endoscope and the video processor is provided at a connector portion which is provided at an end of a universal cord which connects the electronic endoscope and the light source device. An electromagnetic interference countermeasure member is provided which covers at least one of the connector portion, the universal cord and the external devices. A dual shield around a signal line is also provided which includes spirally-wound lead wires having different diameters and ends connected to video ground.

The fluid changing device comprises a cylindrical casing having a suction port, in the side wall thereof, a channel pipe provided in the center of the casing, and having an opening at the upper end portion thereof, the lower end portion of the channel pipe being connected to an instrument channel, extending to the distal end portion of the endoscope, a cap member covering the opening of the channel pipe, a piston disposed between the casing and the channel pipe, and capable of vertical motion, a spring for urging the piston upward, first valve device provided at the upper portion of the piston, and adapted to open or close a first passage as the piston is operated, the first passage extending from the suction port to the outside of the casing, and second valve device provided at the lower portion of the piston, and adapted to close or open a second passage, in contrast with the first passage, as the piston is operated, the second passage extending from the suction port to the instrument channel.

摘要： An endoscope system provided with an electronic or optical endoscope is provided therein with an illuminating optical system, an observation optical system, a flow passage system and a forceps channel. Cleaning and disinfection operations are performed on the endoscope so that the endoscope is reusable. An electronic or optical cover type endoscope is provided therein with an illuminating optical system and an observation optical system. The cover type endoscope is used with an endoscope cover having a flow passage system and a forceps channel mounted on the cover type endoscope. The endoscope cover is discarded and replaced whereby the cover type endoscope is reused. Peripheral equipment for endoscope inspection used in combination with the endoscopes is capable of being selectively connected to any of the endoscopes.
