    • A brake pressure transducer is to be provided for a hydraulic vehicle brake system that can be actuated by initiating an actuating force (FB) via an actuating element (2) in order to generate a brake pressure for at least one wheel brake (3) by reducing the volume of a hydraulic chamber (4) and that is equipped with a brake force booster (13) in order to superimpose a primary servo force (FS1) on the initiated actuating force (FB). An additional hydraulic chamber (6) is provided whose volume likewise decreases on initiating the actuating force (FB). A pump (10, 10′) is disposed between the output of the additional hydraulic chamber (6) and the at least one wheel brake (3) that pumps in the direction from the additional hydraulic chamber (6) to the at least one wheel brake (3), and the output (10a) of the pump (10, 10′) is connected to the output of the hydraulic chamber (4) in order to superimpose a secondary servo force (FS2) on the initiated actuating force (FB) and/or the primary servo force (FS1).

    • A brake-pressure-transmitter arrangement (1) for a hydraulic motor-vehicle brake system, after an actuating force (F) has been introduced via an input member (brake pedal 2), by reduction in the volume of a hydraulic chamber (4) to be filled with brake fluid, provides a brake pressure at the output of the hydraulic chamber (4) for at least one wheel brake (3). The output side (10a) of the booster pump (10) is in fluid connection with the output of the hydraulic chamber (4), so that an increased brake pressure is provided for the at least one wheel brake (3).

    • A master cylinder (10) for a vehicle hydraulic braking system (12) has a housing (18) with a bore (20) formed therein. A piston (22) is guided in a sealing and displaceable manner in the bore (20) and is mechanically connected to a rod-like actuating element (26), by means of which an input force (F) can be transmitted to the piston (22) for pressure conversion. In the bore (20), the piston (22) bounds a pressure chamber (28) and a replenishing chamber (30) arranged on the actuating element side, and has a hydraulically active area (A). In order selectively to increase the pressure intensification of the master cylinder (10), a device (50) is provided which selectively provides a fluid connection between the pressure chamber (28) and the replenishing chamber (30). In the last-mentioned state, on account of the hydraulically active area (B) of the actuating element (26) being smaller than the hydraulically active area (A) of the piston (22), the pressure intensification of the master cylinder (10) is increased by the factor A/B.

    • In an electronically controllable braking system for motor vehicles with a brake pressure generator unit which comprises a master cylinder for generating a brake pressure, a brake pedal via which an actuation force can be introduced into the brake pressure generator unit for actuating the brake pressure generator unit, an electronically controllable brake booster, either for amplifying the actuation force introduced via the brake pedal for the actuation of the brake pressure generator unit, or for effecting an actuation of the brake pressure generator unit, as well as sensors which sense the brake pressure generated by the brake pressure generator unit and a parameter for an electronic control unit, which is related to the amplification of the electronically controllable brake pressure booster, there is provided, in order to comply with a very high safety standard at relatively low cost expenditures, that the electronic control unit determines the actuation force which is introduced via the brake pedal from the brake pressure generated by the brake pressure generator unit and the parameter which is related to the amplification of the electronically controllable brake booster. This results in the advantage that the actuation force which is introduced via the brake pedal can be determined reliably and safely without necessitating the employment of a force sensor.
