    • An atomizing nozzle for a burner, especially for a heater that can be used on a vehicle includes a first flow guide element (34), which provides a flow guide surface (40) and has an atomizing lip (48) in an axial end area in relation to a central axis (A) of the nozzle, a second flow guide element (36) defining a first flow space area (30) leading to the atomizing lip (48) together with the first flow guide element (34). A fuel feed device (54) in the second flow guide element (36) is provided for applying fuel through the first flow space area (30) onto the flow guide surface (40) of the first flow guide element (34). Provisions are made for the fuel feed device (54) to have at least one fuel feed channel section (58) in the second flow guide element (36), which said fuel feed channel section (58) is open toward a surface area (44; 44′) of the second flow guide element (36) and has a surface normal radial component different from zero.

    • A heating system for a vehicle includes a heater (12) with a first electric heating device (24), which can be operated to ignite an air/fuel mixture present in a combustion chamber (16), and with a second electric heating device (22) for supporting the evaporation of the fuel. An actuating device (26) is provided for putting the heater (12) into operation after a start command has been generated. A first start command generating device (30, 36, 26) can be actuated by a user to generate a start command and a second start command generating device (32, 38, 26) generates a start command according to an operating program. The actuating device (26) operates the second heating device (22) at a lower heat output after a start command has been generated by means of the second start command generating device (32,38, 26).

    • The present invention relates to an internal combustion engine which is used in particular in motor vehicle having a reformer for generating hydrogen, whereby the reformer has a single operating mode in which it generates as much reformate as needed or even more for purification of the maximum quantity of exhaust gas generated, whereby a distributor apparatus is situated at the output end of the reformer and the distributor apparatus is connected at the output end to an intake train of the internal combustion engine and to an ammonia generator, whereby the ammonia generator is connected at the output end upstream from an SCR catalyst to an exhaust train of the internal combustion engine, whereby the distributor apparatus allocates the reformate between the intake train and the ammonia generator as a function of the operating state of the internal combustion engine.
