摘要： A method for assembling a magnetic head supporting mechanism of a flexible disk drive apparatus comprising the steps of attaching to a gimbal support device a magnetic head for recording and reproducing information by contacting a recording surface of a disk, by a first gimbal device for slidably supporting the magnetic head, the gimbal support device receiving a force when the position of the magnetic head is adjusted, placing the first gimbal device in a position opposite the disk of a head support device, applying the force to the gimbal support device to position the magnetic head in a predetermined position separated by a predetermined distance from a reference position of the head support device, and moving the gimbal support device in the position opposite the disk of the head support device, and attaching the gimbal support device to the head support device.

To this end, in a control apparatus for controlling the operation of a liquid chromatograph having a gradient analysis function in which a mobile phase composed of a plurality of mixed solvents is used and a chromatograph analysis is performed while the mixture ratio of the solvents is temporally changed, the liquid chromatograph is controlled so as to continuously change the mixture ratio of the solvents from an initial mixture ratio to a final mixture ratio when performing a sample analysis; and as to perform, before the sample analysis, a preparatory liquid supply in which the mixture ratio of the solvents is continuously changed from the initial mixture ratio to the final mixture ratio at a rate higher than that in the sample analysis.

摘要： According to the present invention, there is provided a magnetic disk memory system. An embodiment of this system comprises a magnetic disk of a perpendicular recording type, including a soft magnetic backing layer and a magnetic recording layer of a perpendicular magnetic anisotropy formed on the backing layer, and a magnetic head for writing or reading of data with respect to the magnetic disk, wherein the magnetic head comprises (a) a pair of main magnetic poles each of which made of a material having a high magnetic permeability, one end of the each pole being located so as to face the magnetic disk surface, (b) a non-magnetic interlayer provided between two main magnetic poles of the pair, (c) a recording coil disposed so as to generate a magnetic flux passing through the magnetic disk via the main magnetic poles, and (d) an MR element provided via an insulation layer on the other ends of the pair of main magnetic poles, one MR element having a film surface parallel to end surfaces of the other ends of the main magnetic poles, and being magnetically coupled with the pair of main magnetic poles.
