摘要： A light exposer according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an exposure beam generator generating an exposure beam, and a vacuum chamber passing the exposure beam generated by the exposure beam generator and including a first fly eye lens having a plurality of convex lens like fly eyes. The exposure beam generator includes an oscillator including an oscillator pumping chamber, a first prism and a second prism, and a first exposure beam diameter changing lens positioned before the first prism and enlarging a diameter of the exposure beam.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method of controlling a light exposure apparatus including an exposure beam generator equipped with a prism or a bend mirror and a vacuum chamber through which light generated in the exposure beam generator passes. The method includes, generating an exposure beam; measuring a deviation of a center of the exposure beam from a reference line in the vacuum chamber; and adjusting the prism or the bend mirror in the exposure beam generator to adjust the center of the exposure beam when the center of the exposure beam is misaligned with the reference line.

摘要： A liquid crystal display element of the type having a pair of transparent electrodes consisting of a pair of glass substrates and liquid crystal charged in the space therebetween and which is completely free from a so called "touch", a phenomenon that can destroy the orientation films of the element, is disclosed. According to the invention, a liquid crystal display element of the type as described above is provided with a first insulating film made of a single crystal material having a refractive index greater than that of the transparent electrodes of the glass substrate of the crystal display element. The first insulating film is disposed between one of the transparent electrodes and its corresponding orientation film and a second insulating film made of a single crystal material having a refractive index smaller than that of the transparent electrodes between the other electrode and its corresponding film. The insulating film are so selected that the average value of the refractive index of said first insulating film and that of said second insulating film is substantially equal to the refractive index of the transparent electrodes.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device comprises a black mask layer formed by ink wherein particles of carbon have a diameter ranging from about 0.1 to about 0.3 microns. The carbon particle size is effective to inhibit carbon particles from aggregating themselves into a projection which may establish electric connection between a common electrode and a segment electrode of the liquid crystal display device. This improves the reliability of the liquid crystal display device and the yield upon production of liquid crystal display devices.
