    • A spiral spring toy having a pulling string, a string windup spiral spring, first and second turning bodies, a driving spiral spring, a spiral-shaped guide groove and a floating means. The first turning body is connected with the driving spiral spring so that the driving spiral string biases the first turning body in a first rotational direction and rotation of the first turning body in a second rotational direction charges the driving spiral spring. The second turning body is connected with the pulling string and the string windup spiral spring so that the string windup spiral spring biases the second turning body in the first rotational direction. When the pulling string is pulled, the second turning body rotates in the second rotational direction and charges the string windup spiral spring. The spiral-shaped guide groove has an end portion and is provided on either the first or the second turning body. The floating means is provided on the turning body not provided with the spiral-shaped guide groove so that when the pulling string is pulled, the floating means contacts the end portion of the spiral-shaped guide groove causing the first and second turning body to rotate integrally in the second rotational direction. When the pulling string is released, the floating means floats through and copies the spiral-shaped guide groove so that the second turning body is restored before the first turning body and the string windup spiral spring is discharged before the driving spiral spring.

    • A running toy having a chassis with a plurality of pivotably connected portions and a power source for moving the chassis over a surface including uneven portions and obstructions. Each of the pivotably connected portions of the chassis has mounted thereon gears which engage the gears on an adjacent pivotably connected portion so that a driving force provided by the power source is transmitted to the gears of each of the pivotably connected portions in a manner so as to move the running toy. The gears on each of the pivotably connected portions are mounted so that the gears on adjacent pivotably connected portions remain engaged regardless of the pivotable relationship between adjacent portions of the chassis. At least one of the gears on each of the pivotably connected portions has mounted thereon a hub and drive wheel. Because the chassis comprises pivotably connected portions, the running toy can traverse uneven surfaces and obstacles having a wide variety of heights and inclinations. As the running toy traverses across an uneven surface and surmounts obstacles the chassis deforms to enable the running toy to continue moving; thus, creating interesting shapes for the running toy which capture the interest of a user.

    • A plastic film including indicia such as letters and/or a picture thereon is stretched across a continuous elastic circular member to form a planar toy. A player holds the elastic circular member on opposite sides by both hands, twists the elastic circular member into a figure 8 shape, and then folds the elastic circular member into three overlapping portions, which configuration is retained until disturbed. When the folded toy is thrown at an object, the toy opens to the original, flat, circular shape with a frightening sound, while simultaneously displaying the indicia.

    • An amusement device has a movable body, a game board and a jumping mechanism. The game board has a surface large enough to accommodate movement of the moveable body in a plane of movement, which surface has first and second play areas. The jumping mechanism moves the movable body out of the plane of movement and also moves the movable body from the first play area to the second play area. The jumping mechanism includes a conical member, a sloped movable body passage and a movement mechanism. The conical member extends out of the game board and has upper and lower portions. The conical member is positioned within the first play area with the lower portion being closer to the game board than the upper portion. The conical member has a movable body outlet in the upper portion and a movable body inlet in the lower portion. The movable body passage has first and second ends with the first end being positioned in the vicinity of the movable body outlet and the second end being positioned in the vicinity of the second play area. The movement mechanism moves the movable body from the movable body inlet to the movable body outlet.
