    • A slipping torque changing mechanism for an impact tool includes a driving source for generating a rotational motion. A motion converting mechanism is connected with this driving source for converting the rotational motion of the driving source into a reciprocating motion. An impact mechanism is connected with this motion converting mechanism for transmitting the reciprocating motion to a tool end. A rotational motion transmitting mechanism is disposed separately from the motion converting mechanism for transmitting the rotational motion of the driving source to the tool end. A plurality of clutches, having different slipping torques, are disposed at different portions on the rotational motion transmitting mechanism.

    • A percussion hammer for a tool includes a rotational drive source. A motion converting mechanism is connected to the rotational drive source for convening rotational movement of the rotational drive source into reciprocating movement. A striking mechanism is connected to the motion converting mechanism, and has a drive cylinder. A rotation transmitting mechanism is operative for transmitting rotational movement from the rotational drive source to the tool. A drive wheel is connected to the rotational drive source, and extends around the drive cylinder. A coupling member is connected to the drive cylinder, and extends around the drive cylinder. The coupling member is movable in a percussion axis direction. A movable adjustment member is connected to the coupling member for selectively connecting and disconnecting the coupling member to and from the drive wheel. Teeth are formed on an outer circumferential surface of the drive cylinder. A casing has an inner circumferential surface formed with a projection or a recess extending in the percussion axis direction. A sleeve has an outer circumferential portion which mates in shape with the projection or the recess of the casing. The sleeve engages the casing via the projection or the recess of the casing, and is movable in the percussion axis direction. Teeth are formed on the sleeve, and mate in shape with the teeth on the drive cylinder. The adjustment member is connected to the sleeve for selectively moving the teeth on the sleeve into and out of engagement with the teeth on the drive cylinder.

    • The present invention provides a technique capable of suppressing generation of splash even at high-speed deposition by an Al-based alloy sputtering target containing Ni and a rare earth element, wherein when crystallographic orientations , , , and in a normal direction of each sputtering surface at a surface part of the Al-based alloy sputtering target, a ¼×t (t: thickness of the Al-based alloy sputtering target) part thereof and a ½×t part thereof are observed by an electron backscatter diffraction pattern method, the Al-based alloy sputtering target satisfies the requirement (1) that, when a total of area fractions of the ±15°, ±15° and ±15° is defined as R (as for Rat each part, the R at the surface part is defined as Ra, the R at the ¼×t part is defined as Rb, and the R at the ½×t part is defined as Rc), R is 0.35 or more and 0.80 or less; and the requirement (2) that each of the Ra, the Rb and the Rc falls in the range of ±20% of an average R value [Rave=(Ra+Rb+Rc)/3].
