    • A vehicle seat is disclosed which comprises a seat cushion 1, first and second seat backs 2, 3 separated from each other in a vehicle width direction and pivotally supported to the seat cushion 1, a first recliner device 22 for allowing the first seat back 2 to be pivoted in a forward/rearward direction with respect to the seat cushion 1, and a second recliner device 34 for allowing the second seat back 3 to be pivoted in the forward/rearward direction with respect to the seat cushion. The first seat back 2 is provided at a side thereof adjacent the side of the second seat back with a first bracket 21a. The second seat back 2 is provided at a side thereof adjacent the side of the first seat back 2 with a second bracket 31. The seat cushion is provided with a third bracket 11 which is located between the first and second brackets 21a, 31 and rises up from a rear end portion of the seat cushion 1. The first recliner device 22 includes an actuating shaft 23. The first recliner device 22 is arranged interposedly between the first bracket 21a and the third bracket 11 with both end portions thereof being penetrated through the first and third brackets 21a, 11 and rotatably supported to the first and third brackets 21a, 11. The third bracket 11 is provided with a support pin 24. The support pin 24 is provided at the third bracket 11 so as to be laterally projected toward the second seat back 3 from the third bracket 11 and coaxially surround one of the end portions of the actuating shaft 23 which is penetrated through the third bracket 11. The support pin 24 is penetrated through the second bracket 31 and supported to the second bracket 31. The second recliner device 34 is provided at a side of the second seat back 3 which is remote from the first seat back 2, so that the second seat back 3 is pivotally supported to the seat cushion 1 so as to be pivotable around the support pin 24 through the second recliner device 34.

    • A fixing device is provided for a headrest that fixes the headrest at a predetermined position in an unadjustable manner, even after a guide lock is attached or even after a seatback is formed. At least one groove portion is formed by cutting out in a headrest pillar, without inclination in the radial direction. The fixing device has a knob portion, a resin spring portion formed continuously to the knob portion, and an engagement plate arranged in the knob portion, the resin spring portion is formed to extend on one side of the knob portion therefrom, and is provided with a space portion for expanding to surround the headrest pillar. The engagement plate is installed in the knob portion, and is formed in such a manner that part of the engagement plate is exposed in the space portion.

    • A heat pump system includes a heat pump circuit, a heat load circuit, first and second heat exchangers, a flow rate adjustment element, and a controller. The heat pump circuit circulates primary refrigerant through a low and high stage-side compression elements, an expansion element and an evaporator. The heat load circuit circulates a first fluid and has a first and second branching portions, first and second branching channels, and a heat-load-processing section. The first and second heat exchangers perform heat exchange between the primary refrigerant and the first fluid. Flow rate of the first fluid in the first and/or second branching channel is adjustable. The controller performs flow rate adjustment control so as to maintain a state in which a predetermined temperature condition is satisfied, or to reduce a difference between the temperature of the first fluid flowing through portions of the first and second branching channels.

The seat is provided with lock-release restricting mechanisms provided at lower rail members of a slide rail mechanism for keeping slide lock levers in unlockable states with respect to the lower rail members during flipping-up movement of an entire seat or in a state where the entire seat has been flipped up, and for keeping striker locks in states of being unallowable to be unlocked when the lock levers are in states of incompletely locked with respect to the lower rail members. Each of the lock-release mechanisms includes a restricting arm which includes an arm body, a rising-up piece rising up from one end portion of the arm body and having a height reaching a position under a rear end portion of corresponding one of the lock levers, and a retaining piece which is provided at a side edge of the arm body and to which a corresponding one of extension rods extending from the striker locks is connected. The restricting arm is pivotally supported to a corresponding lower rail member with the rising-up piece being inserted through an elongated hole formed in the lower rail member, in such a manner that the rising-up piece is moved between the position just under the rear end portion of the lock lever and a position just behind the rear end portion of the lock lever according to forward and rearward strokes of the extension rod when the striker lock is unlocked and locked.
