In an indoor unit (3) of an air conditioning apparatus (1) that includes a casing (30) having an opening (64a), an indoor heat exchanger (51) disposed in the casing (30), a liquid-side connection pipe (53) or a gas-side connection pipe (54) extending from the indoor heat exchanger (51) to the outside of the casing (30) through the opening (64a), and an indoor-side dew condensation prevention member (71) that covers the periphery of the liquid-side connection pipe (53) or the gas-side connection pipe (54), an end portion of the liquid-side connection pipe (53) or the gas-side connection pipe (54) is used in a state of being covered from the periphery thereof by a connection-side dew condensation prevention member (72) or is covered from the periphery thereof by the indoor-side dew condensation prevention member (71), and there is formed a communication passage (91) that causes a space of a part covered by the dew condensation prevention member at the end portion of the liquid-side connection pipe (53) or the gas-side connection pipe (54) to be in communication with the internal space of the casing (30).

摘要： An indoor unit of a refrigeration apparatus, to be disposed in a ceiling, includes a casing that has blow-out ports and a blow-in port disposed in a lower surface, a plate-shaped member disposed below the blow-in port, and a filter disposed above an opening in the plate-shaped member. The casing accommodates a heat exchanger, a control board, a support member supporting the control board, and a gas sensor disposed at or adjacent to the support member and between the casing and the plate-shaped member. The gas sensor detects the refrigerant flowing out of the blow-in port due to refrigerant leakage, and the gas sensor is removable when the plate-shaped member is shifted.

摘要： An HVAC system with a refrigerant gas sensor is provided. In one embodiment, an HVAC system includes a heat exchanger coil installed within a housing. The heat exchanger coil is operable to exchange heat with air in the housing via a refrigerant passing through the heat exchanger coil. The system also includes an HVAC sensor assembly having a refrigerant gas sensor and a processor installed in a sensor housing. The processor is configured to execute stored instructions to identify an undesirable condition pertaining to the refrigerant gas sensor. The HVAC system may also include a controller to prevent an operation of the HVAC system in response to identification of the undesirable condition pertaining to the refrigerant gas sensor. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.

摘要： An assembly for directing and detecting leaked refrigerant in a heat exchanger is disclosed. The assembly comprises one or more tray configured at one or more leak-prone locations in the heat exchanger. A first tray is configured at bottom of one or more manifold associated with the heat exchanger, which extends along a length of the corresponding manifold. A second tray is configured on top of the manifold(s), which extends along a length of the corresponding manifold and covers the top of the corresponding manifold. The first and second trays are adapted to block and collect leaked refrigerant from any of the one or more leak-prone locations and direct the collected leaked refrigerant toward a predetermined location or a refrigerant sensor.

摘要： An air conditioner includes a refrigerant circuit, sensors that measure an amount representing a state of refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit, and a controller. The controller executes normal operation according to air conditioning load and a first detection operation of detecting refrigerant leakage. The controller adjusts a degree of subcooling at an outlet of the condenser to a first value during normal operation. The controller detects a value related to discharge temperature of the compressor or a value related to degree of superheating at an outlet of the evaporator, based on a sensor measurement result. The controller adjusts degree of subcooling to a second value larger than the first value when executing the first detection operation, and determines that refrigerant is leaking when the value related to discharge temperature of the compressor or the value related to degree of superheating is equal to or larger than a threshold value.

The system further includes a controller configured to control the system to drive air from a conditioned interior space of a building into an external environment via the purge exhaust outlet assembly when the sensor detects the refrigerant proximate the air handling enclosure by: actuating the return inlet assembly to close the return inlet assembly, actuating the purge exhaust outlet assembly to open the purge exhaust outlet assembly, and activating a reversible supply fan of the HVAC unit in a reverse direction.
