摘要： The field of view of a video camera is set to include electric appliances such as a refrigerator, TV set, air conditioner and lamp installed within a room. When the user operates a remote controller to emit a visible laser beam toward a controlable range including these electric appliances set within this field of view, and designate a certain one of the appliances by the resulting pointer within the controlable range, the video camera for extracting only the visible laser beam of a wave length picks up this pointer, and a control box detects the position of the pointer within the controlable range from the output of the camera so that the appliance designated by this pointer can be detected and remotely controlled by use of the remote controller.

摘要： An improvement of a system for providing more effectively product information has been required. The required improvement can be achieved by a technology, for example, that displays information corresponding to a point message displayed on an automated teller machine on a display unit installed in the proximity of the automated teller machine and displays more detailed information to customers who show any interest. The displayed information preferably corresponds to customer information (such as account number) acquired by the automated teller machine. The system further includes a sensor for detecting the approach of the customer to the display unit and switches display of an info-active screen in accordance with the approach or halt of the customer.

摘要： An electrophotographic copying machine includes a photosensitive drum on which an electrostatic latent image is formed, a developing apparatus for developing the electrostatic latent image into a toner image, a transferring apparatus for transferring the toner image to a copy paper supplied from a paper supplying portion, a fixing apparatus for heating the copy paper having the toner image transferred thereto to fix the toner image, and a paper ejecting roller for ejecting the copy paper having the toner image fixed thereto to the exterior of the machine body. The copying machine elements are arranged so that the copy paper transporting path from the paper supplying portion to the paper ejecting portion is divided into two assembly units, the assembly units which can be removed from respective predetermined attached positions toward the exterior of the copying machine body in a direction opposite from each other and parallel to the transporting direction of the copy paper.

An interface sets each of the portable telephones held by users in correspondence with the display device for communication. The display device is adapted to be connected with a plurality of portable terminals and manage the data exchange. 摘要： There is disclosed a light-sensitive device comprising: at least one light-sensitive element having a surface for receiving an incident light, and at least one color filter made from polyimide resin mixed with an organic pigment, applied on the light-receiving surface of the light-sensitive element. There is also disclosed a manufacturing method of a light-sensitive device having one or more light-sensitive regions, comprising the steps of:(a) applying at least one color filter layer on the light-receiving surface of a light-sensitive region formed on a wafer of a semiconductor material, said layer being made from a polyimide resin containing an organic pigment;(b) dicing said wafer into individual chips;(c) bonding one of said chips to a lead frame member having electrical lead means;(d) bonding electrical wires between the chip and said electrical lead means of said lead frame member for the connection to at least one external device; and(e) molding said chip bonded to said lead frame members with a resin.
