    • The present invention provides novel processes for preparing a fluorinated acyl fluoride and a fluorinated vinyl ether.Namely, it provides a process for preparing a fluorinated acyl fluoride (3), which comprises reacting a compound (1) having a fluorine content of 30 mass % or above with fluorine in a liquid phase to form a compound (2) and then dissociating the ester bond in the compound (2), and a process for preparing a fluorinated vinyl ether (10), which comprises pyrolyzing the fluorinated acyl fluoride: wherein RA and RB are alkyl groups or the like, or the combination RA and RB is an ethereal oxygen-containing alkylene group or the like, RC and RD are perfluoro(ethereal oxygen-containing alkyl) groups or the like, or the combination of RC and RD is a perfluoro(ethereal oxygen-containing alkylene) group or the like, X1, X2, X3, X4, X5 and X6 are hydrogen atoms, fluorine atoms or the like, RAF, RBF, RCF and RDF are groups derived respectively from RA, RB, RC and RD by replacing substantially all of the hydrogen atoms by fluorine atoms.

    • The present invention provides a process whereby fluorinated ketones of various structures can be produced by short process steps and which is useful as an industrial production process. Namely, it is a process for producing a fluorinated ketone of the following formula (5), which comprises reacting a compound of the following formula (3) having a fluorine content of at least 30 mass %, with fluorine in a liquid phase to obtain a compound of the following formula (4), and then, subjecting the ester linkage of the compound of the formula (4) to a dissociation reaction: RCCOOCHRARB  (3) RCFCOOCFRAFRBF  (4) RAFRBFC═O  (5) wherein each of RA and RAF are each a monovalent organic group such as an alkyl group, or RA and RB may be bonded to each other to form a bivalent organic group such as an alkylene group, RAF and RBF are a monovalent organic group such as a perfluoroalkyl group formed by fluorination of RA and RB, or they are bonded to each other to form a bivalent organic group such as a perfluoroalkylene group, and RC and RCF are each a monovalent organic group such as a perfluoroalkyl group which may contain an etheric oxygen atom.
