摘要： A communication control apparatus which effectively uses a memory and does not need complicated hardware is realized. Each area of a frame assembly memory 2 is set to the maximum frame length which is handled. When a cell of a new connection is inputted, a memory write control unit (1) allocates the connection to an empty area in the memory (2) and writes the cell therein. When the cell of the same connection as that already allocated to any area is inputted, it is written into the allocated area. If a plurality of cells of one frame have already been written in the area of the same connection, the connection is allocated to another new area and the cell is written therein. A memory read control unit (3) reads out the cells of one frame and outputs them as one completed-frame data.

摘要： The battery pack holds a first block adjacent to a second block in a case. The first and second blocks are a plurality of circular cylindrical batteries arranged in the same horizontal plane. The first and second blocks are each made up of N batteries lined up side-by-side in parallel fashion to form a lateral battery array, and M perpendicular batteries in close proximity to an electrode end of the lateral battery array and oriented at right angles to the batteries of the lateral battery array. The circular cylindrical batteries of the first and second blocks are arranged with point-by-point symmetry about the center of the rectangular case. Further, the electrode ends of perpendicular batteries protrude beyond a side of the lateral battery array towards the neighboring block to provide center region space between the first and second blocks.

摘要： The semiconductor of the present invention comprises at least an oxide film and a metal thin film on the surface of the semiconductor. The metal thin film includes a metal serving as an oxidation catalyst and has a thickness in the range of 0.5-30 nm. The oxide film comprises a metal serving as an oxidation catalyst and having a thickness in the range of 1-20 nm. Thus, a high-quality oxide film can be formed on the surface of the semiconductor substrate with high controllability without conducting a high temperature heat treatment. The invention employs the method of manufacturing the semiconductor has a steps of forming the first oxidation film having thickness in the range of 0.1-2.5 nm on the semiconductor substrate; forming the metal thin film (for example platinum film) serving as an oxide catalyst to the thickness in the range of 0.5-30 nm on the first oxide thin film; and then forming the second oxide film by heat treating in an oxidizing atmosphere at temperatures from 25 to 600° C.

An access point assigns mobile stations existing in its own wireless network to identification codes, different from station to station, to thereby carry out association, and thereafter transmits beacon frames each containing a different identification code to the mobile stations. The identification codes are allocated beforehand specifically to each of the access points included in the wireless LAN. When the station is handed over to an adjacent access point, the adjacent access point transmits beacon frames containing the corresponding identification code to that station. Thus, the station is able to continue communication without recognizing the transfer from one wireless network to another.

摘要： An access point is provided which is able to secure QoS of multimedia traffic. In the method of controlling QoS for wireless LAN base station apparatus used in a wireless LAN system operating in accordance with IEEE 802.11 standard, the base station or access point is included in a network working in an infrastructure mode with other mobile stations controlled in access by the DCF function. When the access point is receiving a first frame sent from the mobile station and holds a multimedia frame to be sent with high-priority after having received the first frame, it loads the Duration/ID field of an ACK frame responding to the first frame with a time required for transmitting the multimedia frame, and then sends the ACK frame.
