    • A swaging structure for metallic members includes a metallic plate having a hole portion, and a disc-shaped conductive member which is fitted in the hole portion and fixed to the metallic plate by swaging a circumference of the hole portion. The metallic plate includes a groove portion provided in at least one surface side of the metallic plate about the hole portion of the metallic plate, and the conductive member includes a vertical flange provided on an outer circumference of the conductive member and protruding from the at least one surface side. The conductive member is fitted in the hole portion of the metallic plate, and when the conductive member is swaged onto the metallic plate, the vertical flange of the conductive member is deformed, and the groove portion of the metallic plate is filled with the deformed vertical flange.

    • The drive control circuit for an electric motor is provided. The drive control circuit includes: an original drive signal generator that generates an original drive signal; an excitation interval setter that is able, for each half cycle of respective length π in each 2π excitation cycle of the original drive signal, to arbitrarily set excitation intervals during which to excite coils of the electric motor to any one of a plurality of intervals which include at least either one of a symmetrical interval centered on a center of each half-cycle and an unsymmetrical interval; and a drive signal shaping circuit that generates a drive signal for driving the electric motor, by validating the original drive signal during the excitation intervals and invalidating the original drive signal during non-excitation intervals other than the excitation interval.

    • An electric brake control apparatus comprises a motor for pressing a braking member, a drive circuit for controlling the motor, a current sensor for measuring the current value of the drive circuit, a rotation angle sensor for detecting the rotation angle of the motor, a propulsive force sensor for measuring the propulsive force of the braking member, and a control unit supplied with the output values of these sensors and a brake pedal operation signal for controlling the drive circuit. In the case where a trouble occurs in the current sensor, the rotation angle sensor or the propulsive force sensor, it is determined whether the braking force generating function is maintained or stopped in accordance with the type of the faulty sensor, and upon determination that the braking force generating function is maintained, the braking force generating function is maintained by other sensors than the faulty sensor.
