摘要： A mechanism provides a model-driven solution template-based approach for managed business services. Key assets of the business services are templatized and made configurable. The mechanism implements a metamodel describing standard service offerings that can be configured to meet specific business and operational requirements at a level of business process and system components. A cost and pricing model of service offerings helps assess the service costs and resource requirements based on a client's selection of standard and customized processes and system components. A supporting system solution is developed based upon underlying solution templates and solution artifacts as well as client-specific requirements.

摘要： A system and method for composing application services includes an indexing module configured to index words in a request and available application descriptions to create a semantic similarity map. A semantic matcher is configured to determine semantic similarity between concepts/terms in both domain-independent and domain-specific ontologies for the semantic similarity map. A prefiltering module is configured to determine candidate compositions for the request based on the semantic similarity map and the available descriptions. A metric guided composition method is configured to run algorithms to generate a set of alternative compositions by determining which applications can be composed with which others using the semantic similarity map.

摘要： A system and method allow a user to extract the set of customizations performed on an application and use these to estimate the time and effort and cost of (a) migrating to a new version of the application and/or (b) consolidating systems. The user can browse the extracted data and select configuration elements for re-use. After downloading the one or more configurations and comparing them, the user selects elements of the configurations for re-use. The first step is to scan one or more application systems and extract the configuration data using a surveyor. The method according to the invention automatically identifies configuration differences. The user then selects configuration elements for re-use. A graphic user interface (GUI) can be provided which allows the user to make these selections by dragging and dropping selected elements to a “To Be” configuration. The selected configurations are then uploaded and installed on an instance of the application.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to modeling value networks and provide a method, system and computer program product for a comparative analysis different value nets. In an embodiment of the invention, a value net analysis method can include loading data for CBM components of a first value net for a first collection of business enterprises, and loading data for CBM components of a second value net for a second collection of business enterprises. The method also can include mapping relationships between different business enterprises in the first value net to relationships between different business enterprises in the second value net. Relative underperformance can be identified in a mapped relationship in one of the value nets based upon a comparison of the loaded data for the CBM components of the value nets. Consequently, the under-performing mapped relationship can be visually distinguished in an enterprise view to a corresponding one of the value nets.
