摘要： A hydrogen generating apparatus or the like is able to detect an excess water state or an excess steam state in the interior of a shift converter or a selective oxidation device. The hydrogen generating apparatus (120) comprise a hydrogen generator (118) including a reformer (100) configured to generate a reformed gas from a material and steam; a shift converter (103) configured to cause the reformed gas supplied from the reformer (100) to be subjected to a shift reaction; and a selective oxidation device (105) configured to decrease a concentration of carbon monoxide in the reformed gas after the shift reaction to a predetermined concentration or less; a temperature sensor (116, 117) configured to detect one of a temperature of the shift converter (103) and a temperature of the selective oxidation device (105); and a controller (205) configured to determine that excess water or excess steam exists in an interior of the hydrogen generator (118) when an increasing rate of the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is less than a predetermined threshold.

摘要： A method of operating fuel cell system includes generating electricity by a fuel cell using fuel gas and oxidizing gas and allowing cooling water to flow in the fuel cell and thereby cooling the fuel cell. The method includes transferring moisture from exhaust gas to supply gas using a first humidifier, the exhaust gas being discharged from the fuel cell, the supply gas being supplied to the fuel cell, and transferring moisture from the cooling water to the supply gas humidified using a second humidifier. The method includes at least one of detecting humidity of the supply gas humidified, detecting temperature of the cooking water, detecting the flow rate of the supply gas and detecting the amount of electricity generated by the fuel cell. The method also includes controlling the humidity of the supply gas humidified based on the value detected.

摘要： It has heretofore been practiced upon the occurrence of abnormalities on the equipment to make tentative conditioned operation disregarding abnormalities on the assumption that the abnormalities shall be coped with by servicemen. Thus, troubles having insignificant contents of abnormality could not be readily coped with by a simple method. There are provided a fuel cell, a fuel gas supplying unit, an oxidizer gas supplying unit, a state detecting unit of detecting the temperature of the fuel gas supplying unit, an operation controlling unit of detecting abnormalities of predetermined functions performed by the fuel gas supplying unit utilizing the results detected by the state detecting unit and performing operation control in an operation mode corresponding to the contents of abnormalities, and an operation mode switching unit of switching to an operation mode corresponding to the contents of abnormalities.

摘要： An apparatus of removing carbon monoxide, has: a hydrogen gas supply unit of supplying a hydrogen gas, a catalytic reaction unit provided with a catalyst body carrying a platinum group metal catalyst, a hydrogen gas introducing unit which introduces a hydrogen gas containing carbon monoxide from the hydrogen gas supply unit to the catalytic reaction unit, and an oxidizing gas supply unit of supplying an oxidizing gas containing oxygen to the catalytic reaction unit, wherein the catalyst body is brought into an oxidizing atmosphere for a period of time during operation according to a predetermined condition or when the apparatus is stopped. Thus, carbon monoxide can be eliminated sufficiently.

摘要： A cogeneration system of the present invention includes: a power generation system equipped with a power generator; waste heat utilization system for recovering waste heat from the power generator, storing the heat, and utilize the waste heat as an effective output thermal energy; and a waste heat utilization promoting system for promoting utilization of the effective output thermal energy in the waste heat utilization system to avoid a stop of the system associated with a heat storage amount reaching a full amount. The waste heat utilization promoting system is equipped with a stop predicting function to predict an operation stop of the power generation system by comparing a current operating state with a reference pattern and computing an operation sustainable time, and a stop warning function to give the user a warning of the operation stop with an image or sound according to stop prediction information obtained.
