摘要： An autonomic grid computing mechanism. In embodiments, peer-to-peer platform protocols may be integrated with a grid computing system. Embodiments may use peer-to-peer platform protocols as the transport for the grid computing system. Embodiments may provide one or more of, but not limited to, the following capabilities to grid computing systems: self-deployment and self-configuration, self-updating, self-healing, node removal, master node backup, monitoring, administration, load balancing, grid brokering, decentralized grid, and multi-grid support. Peer-to-peer platform protocols may be used to automatically configure compute nodes. When a node comes up, the node searches for a master node using the peer-to-peer platform. When the node finds a master node, it provides node information to the master node using the peer-to-peer platform. The master node may send the node grid configuration information using the peer-to-peer platform and the node may self-configure as a compute node.

摘要： A pumping system for moving water of a swimming pool includes a water pump, a variable speed motor, and an arrangement for controlling the variable speed motor. The pumping system further includes an auxiliary device operably connected to the arrangement for controlling, and an arrangement for providing two-way communication between the arrangement for controlling and the auxiliary device. The arrangement for controlling is capable of receiving a parameter from the auxiliary device through the arrangement for providing two-way communication. In one example, the arrangement for controlling is capable of independently controlling the variable speed motor without receipt of a parameter from the auxiliary device. In addition or alternatively, the arrangement for controlling is operable to selectively alter operation of the motor based upon the parameter. In addition or alternatively, the arrangement for controlling is configured to optimize a power consumption of the variable speed motor over time based upon the parameters received. A method for controlling the pumping system is also provided.

摘要： A low profile floor console for a vehicle includes a pair of end walls. In a lowered position, the console permits pass through between two spaced apart vehicle seats. When raised, fabric or netting attached, together with the end walls define a storage area. In the preferred embodiment, an add-on module fits over the raised end walls to provide a rigid storage area, and additional functionality, such as a tray, a power port, cup holders, change bins, and the like. The lid of the module may be configured for sliding or pivotal movement to allow access to the interior thereof. Also in the preferred embodiment, the floor console is constructed to trim out a parking brake assembly. In various alternate embodiments, the floor console end walls may be constructed to provide additional functionality, such as internal map pockets, and the console system may be arranged for use at different locations within the vehicle, such as in the cargo area. The add-on console modules may additionally provide a variety of functionality besides storage, such as a cooler, a kid's module, a baby module, an infotainment module, a work module, and the like. Two or more of the floor consoles of the present invention may be used between different seating rows within a vehicle or at other locations in the vehicle.
