One method comprises providing a gas sample, increasing pressure applied to the gas sample to compress the sample to a smaller volume and provide a pneumatically focused gas sample, and analyzing the pneumatically focused gas sample using any of a variety of analytical techniques. Also disclosed are systems for gas analysis, including systems for analysis of pneumatically focused, and thereby concentrated, gas samples and for analysis of particulate matter in gas samples. Analytical systems constructed within personal computer cases also are disclosed.

The seal includes an annular body configured to be received between the spool and the bore. The body also has an inner diameter face disposable opposite the spool, and an outer a fluid face disposable opposite the bore. The inner diameter face has a first and a second lip portion which are energizable responsive to fluid pressure. A generally annular first spring member is molded into the outer diameter face adjacent a first end face of the body, and a generally annular second spring member is molded into the body outer diameter face adjacent a second end face. Generally annular third and fourth spring members each also may be molded into a corresponding one of the body lip portions.

摘要： The present invention relates to a novel use of nanomaterials as a viscosity modifier and thermal conductivity improver for gear oil and other lubricating oil compositions. The gear oils of the instant invention have a higher viscosity index, higher shear stability, and improved thermal conductivity compared to currently available gear oils. The preferred nanoparticles also impart a reduction in the coefficient of friction, including reduced friction in the boundary lubrication regime. These properties are obtained by replacing part or all of the polymer thickener or viscosity index improver or some other part of the composition normally used in gear oils with nanomaterials of suitable shape, size, and composition.

摘要： A molded plastic drawer for use in cabinets having spaced, parallel guide rails comprises a normally horizontally disposed bottom wall and front, side and back walls extending upwardly from the bottom wall. The bottom wall is provided with guide members which engage the lower guide rails of the cabinet to guide the drawer during movement between opened and closed conditions. The side and back walls of the cabinet extend to horizontal lips and may be provided with ribs which reinforce the walls and the lips. The horizontal lip of the back wall is positioned above the lips of the side wall and extends across the full width of the drawer to define an elongate shoulder positioned for engagement with structure of the cabinet when the drawer is in the opened condition to prevent the drawer from falling out of the cabinet. The upper portion of the back wall further comprises grooves which receive the upper guide rails of the cabinet and thereby cooperates with guide portions on the bottom wall to guide the drawer during inward and outward movement relative to the cabinet.

摘要： An elongated and retractable sterile marker apparatus includes a handle assembly, an elongated marker operating assembly a top portion of which is connected to the handle assembly, and a sterile marker assembly which is connected to a bottom portion of the elongated marker operating assembly. Preferably, the sterile marker assembly includes a felt marker tip. The elongated and retractable sterile marker apparatus is particularly useful in pain management procedures to mark needle locations. Preferably, the handle assembly includes a pair of finger-reception members which are connected to an outside portion of the elongated marker operating assembly. A thumb-reception member is received in the elongated marker operating assembly for operating the elongated marker operating assembly. Preferably, a return spring is provided to return the tip of the sterile marker portion into a marker unit housing when the tip is no longer being used for marking.
