摘要： A multifunctional anionic polymerization initiator which is in the form of a star-shaped polymer, and which is soluble in a nonpolar medium and is substantially free of residual double bonds. The initiator is denoted by the general formula (PA).sub.a N.sup.n- nLi.sup.+. PA is a polymer block of a vinylaromatic or diene monomer A. The variable "a" is the number of branches in the block PA. N is a crosslinked core comprising no or practically no residual double bonds and has the formula (PMc)(RLi).sub.p. Mc is a monomer containing at least two polymerizable double bonds per molecule. 摘要： A device is prepared having cells or tissue attached to a non-degradable filamentous matrix surrounded by a semi-permeable membrane. The matrix is preferably formed of a plurality of monofilaments twisted into a yarn or woven into a mesh, and can be in the form of a cylinder. When implanting the device, the semi-permeable membrane is preferably immunolsolatory, and the cells or tissue may produce a biologically active molecule to provide therapy. To enhance cell or tissue adhesion, the matrix is coated with extracellular matrix molecules or treated to provide a surface charge. The device can be made by inserting the matrix into a capsule formed of the semi-permeable membrane, distributing the cells or tissue on the matrix through an opening of the capsule, and sealing the opening of the capsule.

A wireless device user desiring to browse a World-Wide-Web page or other data sends a request over the wireless network to a Web server. The Web server receives the request and transmits the request over the Internet to the destination server containing the desired Web page. The Web server parses the Web page to remove data that is not displayable on the wireless device and transmits the parsed Web page over the wireless network to the wireless device for display to the user.
