摘要： Drive system for moving a load along a curved path. The drive system includes a base for mounting the drive system, the base having a curved track for guiding the load along the curved path. There is a load engaging mechanism mounted on the base for movement relative to the base, the load engaging mechanism being for moving the load. The load engaging mechanism has a curved track engaging roller for engaging the curved track. A linear drive mechanism including a linearly driven member is mounted on the base. The linearly driven member includes a driving pivot. A drive link is attached to the driving pivot at a drive force receiving end of the drive link, the drive link including a driven pivot at a drive force communicating end of the drive link. The driven pivot is attached to the load engaging mechanism, whereby linear motion of the driving pivot causes motion of the load along the curved path.

摘要： The invention relates to a cooling duct piston for an internal combustion engine comprising heat pipes. In order to improve dissipation of heat from the thermally loaded piston areas while preventing thermal tensions, liquid-filled heat pipes that are provided with an evaporator end and a condenser end are disposed in bores of the cooling duct which are oriented towards the bottom of the piston. The heat pipes are arranged such that the evaporator ends terminate at the end of the bores which faces the piston bottom while the condenser ends terminate in the closed cooling duct.

The aim of the invention is to simplify the structure of such a piston while at the same time allowing for an improved heat dissipation from the piston areas subject to heat load while avoiding thermal stress. For this purpose, a plurality of liquid-filled heat pipes each having an evaporator and a condenser end is used, whereby the evaporator end is configured by short pipe sections that are oriented in the thickness at bottom towards the focal point and that are interlinked by means of a composite heat pipe extending in parallel to the piston head. At least two pipe sections functioning as the condenser end are coupled with the composite heat pipe in such a manner as to configure, by way of a pipe connection arranged on the condenser ends, a closed coolant cycle between the evaporator end, composite heat pipe and condenser end of the heat pipe.
