    • A bearing housing (3) encloses a bearing (2) for a shaft (1). The bearing is mounted on the shaft by a clamping sleeve (4) with a longitudinal slit and two flanges (5,6) one on each side of the bearing. The flanges, which are axially fixed on the sleeve, are parts of mounting and dismounting means for a bearing. The bearing space is sealed by sealing members which surround the flanges .[.and.]..Iadd., In a preferred embodiment, the sealing members .Iaddend.have lips (12,13) contacting the outer surfaces of said flanges. Resilient sealing rings (10,11) are arranged between the flanges and the inner ring of the bearing. The sealing arrangement allows the use of a slitted clamping sleeve and axial displacement of the bearing on the shaft (1) during mounting.

    • A bearing housing characterized by novel features of construction and arrangement providing an adjustable bearing seat. The housing has a longitudinal slot and mounting portions protruding at each side of the slot. Each of the mounting portions is provided with a support surface confronting a base which in the unloaded condition is disposed at an angle relative to the base. The angular relationship of the mounting portions to the base can be selectively varied by pressing the mounting portions against the base by fastening elements engaging through openings in the mounting portion and engageable in the base. The housing is elastically deformable and when so adjusted the width of the slot is selectively varied and thereby the diameter of the seat can be adjusted.

    • A bearing unit having a sealed single-row deep-groove ball bearing. The sealed single-row deep-groove ball bearing includes an outer race ring with a sphered outer envelope surface, a housing with a sphered bore for accommodating the bearing, an inner race ring with a taper bore, and a correspondingly tapered clamping sleeve provided in the bore of the inner race ring and having a flange provided on at least one side of the bearing. The flange has at least one bore, and at least one tightening device for causing a force on the bearing inner race ring for displacing the inner race ring along the clamping sleeve thereby causing a clamping effect between the inner race ring and the sleeve and between the sleeve and a shaft on which the bearing unit is mounted. The bore of the flange includes a threaded through-bore extending at an acute angle with respect to an axial direction of an inner envelope surface of the sleeve. The tightening device includes a set screw arranged to contact a side face of the inner race ring.

    • A bearing housing (3) supports a bearing (2) for a shaft (1). The bearing is mounted on the shaft with a clamping sleeve (4) on which are provided two flanges (5, 6) on opposite sides of the bearing.     • A device for elastic interconnection of two rotatable shafts consisting of a first sleeve intended to be connected to a first shaft end. The sleeve has a radial flange and a cylindrical, annular portion connected to the periphery of the flange. A second sleeve is intended to be connected to a second shaft end and to be surrounded by said cylindrical portion. A number of elastically deformable spherical elements are arranged in opposing recesses in said second sleeve and cylindrical portion and distributed around a shaft end. The recesses in the cylindrical portion are arranged in the end surfaces of plugs and provided with external threads. The plugs by being turned are displaceable in threaded bores provided radially in the wall of the cylindrical part. The outer end surfaces of the plugs are provided with diametrical grooves and the cylindrical portion is provided with a diametrical groove. The diametrical grooves and the peripheral grooves define an annular groove. A locking ring is disposed in the annular groove to lock all the plugs in a desired position.
