摘要： The present invention provides silver halide color photographic materials having a layer which contains at least one magenta color image-forming oleophilic coupler of the following formulae (I) and/or (II) and at least one of the following formula (III): ##STR1## in which Ar represents a phenyl group which is substituted by at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group and a cyano group; Y represents an acylamino group or an anilino group; and Z.sub.1 represents a group capable of being removed by coupling, ##STR2## in which X represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; Z.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being removed by coupling;W represents a hydrogen atom, an acyl group or an aliphatic or aromatic sulfonyl group;Za and Zb each represent a methine group, a substituted methine group or --N.dbd.; andX, Z.sub.2 or the substituted methine of Za or Zb may form a dimer or higher polymer, ##STR3## in which A represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, an acyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a heterocyclic oxy group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group or an amino group, which may be substituted or unsubstituted; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R.sub.3a and R.sub.3b each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group or an arylthio group; R.sub.4 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; and D represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom.The use of the combination of the magenta coupler(s) of the formulae (I) and/or (II) and the stain-inhibitory additive(s) of the formula (II) provides photographic light-sensitive materials that are almost free from stains when such materials are preserved for a long period of time after having been exposed, developed and then photographically processed.

C. and represented by formula (I):R.sub.0 SO.sub.2 X (I)wherein R.sub.0 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl or heterocyclic group having 8 or more total carbon atoms; and X represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an alkaline earth metal atom, a nitrogen-containing organic base, ammonium or a group represented by formula (A): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl or heterocyclic group; R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl, acyloxy or sulfonyl group; and R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom or a hydrolyzable group.The material prevents stain formation on the non-color-developed areas due to aging and the like after processing.

摘要： A silver halide color photosensitive material is disclosed, characterized in that a lipophilic fine grain dispersed in at least one hydrophilic colloidal layer formed on a support contains at least one compound of formula (I) and at least one compound of formula (II):R.sub.1 --SO.sub.2.M.sub.1 (I)R.sub.2 --SO.sub.3.M.sub.2 (II)wherein each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represents an aliphatic group having 8 or more carbon atoms, an aromatic group having 8 or more carbon atoms or a heterocyclic group having 8 or more carbon atoms; each of M.sub.1 and M.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or an inorganic or organic salt-forming atom or atomic group; also M.sub.1 represents a protective group to be hydrolyzed with alkali; and sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate is excluded from the compounds of formula (II). The combined use of the compounds of formulae (I) and (II) can effectively control the formation of stains on the processed white ground after the lapse of time without substantially lowering the maximum color density.

摘要： There is provided a color photograph improved in preservability that has been obtained by making chemically inactive the aromatic amine type color developing agents and their oxidized product that remains in the silver halide photographic materials after color development processing. The color photograph exhibits excellent performance in that its white background can be prevented from discoloring even during long-term storage or display, and deterioration of a dye image caused by the remaining color developing agent being taken into the photographic material after the color development, bleaching, and fixing processes, or due to its oxidized product, can be prevented.

摘要： Disclosed in a color photograph containing a storability-improving compound capable of forming a chemical bond with an aromatic amine series color developing agent that remains in a photographic material after having been processed for color development to give a chemically inactive and substantially colorless compound in at least one photographic layer on a support. Also disclosed is a method for preparation of color photographs wherein a photographic material containing a silver halide emulsion layer and a color image-forming coupler capable of forming a dye by an oxidation-coupling reaction with an aromatic amine series color developing agent, as coated on a support, is imagewise exposed to light and then subjected to photographic processing, comprising carrying out the photographic processing in the presence of the afore described storability-improving compound. By the use of the storability-improving compound, the color images formed on the color photographs do not fade when stored for long periods of time.

A method of forming a color image using the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is also described.
