摘要： In the apparatus for cooling a superconductor in accordance with the present invention, a male thread portion of an inner container engages a female thread portion of an outer container so as to connect the inner and outer containers to each other. Also, the bottom wall of the inner container is provided with a thermal conductor penetrating therethrough. Further, a sapphire sheet is joined to peripheral portions of an opening of the bottom wall of the outer container facing the thermal conductor, so as to block the opening. As the distance between the bottom wall of the outer container and the bottom wall of the inner container is freely adjusted by changing the engaging position between the thread portions, the gap between a high transition temperature (high Tc) superconducting magnetic sensor and the sapphire sheet is adjusted.

摘要： A thin film superconducting wire with a copper plating thin film produced on a surface of a laminated structure is inferior in bending properties to a thin film superconducting wire having no copper plating thin film. Therefore, a thin film superconducting wire according to the present invention is a thin film superconducting wire including a laminated structure having a substrate, a buffer layer located on one of main surfaces of the substrate, and a superconducting layer located on a main surface of the buffer layer opposite to a main surface facing the substrate. The thin film superconducting wire further includes a copper plating thin film covering an outer periphery of the laminated structure, a residual stress within the copper plating thin film serving as a compression stress. The laminated structure may have a sputtered silver layer. A silver covering layer covering the outer periphery of the laminated structure may be further provided between the copper plating thin film and the laminated structure.

A superconducting thin film material includes a substrate, and a superconducting film formed on the substrate. 摘要： A process of preparing a superconducting thin oxide film includes irradiating a target containing Bi, Sr, Ca and Cu with a laser beam to prepare a thin film of superconducting Bi.sub.2 Sr.sub.2 Ca.sub.2 Cu.sub.3 O.sub.x oxide or a thin film of superconducting Bi.sub.2 Sr.sub.2 Ca.sub.1 Cu.sub.2 O.sub.y oxide on a substrate. The process is characterized in that the target containing Bi, Sr, Ca and Cu in an atomic ratio of 2:2:2:3 is positioned to face the substrate, and the laser beam is irradiated to the target in an atmosphere having an oxygen partial pressure of 0.01-1 Torr while the temperature of the substrate is maintained in a given temperature range suitable for growing the respective superconducting thin oxide films.

摘要： A source material solution for forming an oxide superconductor is provided, the source material solution being used for forming on a substrate an RE 123 oxide superconductor into which flux pinning points are introduced, using a coating-pyrolysis process. Nanoparticles of a predetermined amount for forming pinning points are dispersed in the solution in which an organometallic compound is dissolved for forming the oxide superconductor. The nanoparticles have a particle size of 5 to 100 nm. The organometallic compound is an organometallic compound containing no fluorine. Accordingly, even in an FF-MOD process, the material for pins can easily be added, a treatment for thermally decomposing a metal complex and a heat treatment for generating a pin compound are unnecessary, and the particle size of the pins can suitably be controlled.
