摘要： A process for the chlorination of alkylanilines is provided allowing a highly selective chlorination in the meta-position of the aromatic ring. This is achieved by reacting a mixture comprising the alkylaniline and sulfuric acid with chlorine. This process allows a meta-chlorination with a selectivity of more than 90%.

摘要： A percussive tool, particularly a chisel for percussive working in rock, has a body portion, and a nozzle arrangement in the body portion, which is operative for forming a high-speed flow of a high-pressure fluid, particularly liquid, and directing the same to a working region of the body portion. The nozzle arrangement may include a plurality of nozzle holes which are open into the working region. It may also include at least one nozzle hole and at least one nozzle directing the flow of fluid into the nozzle hole. The nozzle may be supported by a supporting member which has an inner passage and extends from an inner chamber of a head section of the body portion into a receiving recess of a shaft section of the latter. The supporting member may be adjustable in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the chisel.

摘要： Aqueous paper-sizing emulsions for bulk and surface sizing with a content of fatty acid anhydrides are described in which the fatty acid anhydrides are derived from unsaturated or saturated fatty acids or their mixtures with chain lengths of C12-C24 and are liquid under 50° C. The paper sizing emulsions additionally may contain another reactive or non-reactive sizing agent and/or a fixing agent containing aluminum ions. The new emulsions are suitable for the finishing of paper and cardboard.

摘要： Apparatus for gathering particulate material in mines and similar plants has a mobile platform which collects particulate material and surrounds the trailing end of a material removing conveyor. The sides of the trailing end of the conveyor are flanked by plate-like carriers on each of which are fixed several beams serving to push gathered material toward and onto the conveyor in response to movement of the carriers toward the conveyor. The carriers are movable toward and away from the conveyor by motors which are installed beneath the platform, and the apparatus further employs stationary or reciprocable barriers, one behind each beam, which prevent the beams from pushing material away from the conveyor during return strokes of the carriers. Those ends of the beams and barriers which face in the direction of forward movement of the platform slope forwardly and downwardly to facilitate penetration beneath the accumulations of particulate material on the platform.
