    • An elastic retaining piece portion (23a) is formed on a terminal retainer (17), and has a completely-retaining portion (23b) at a distal end thereof and an engagement-canceling tapering portion (23c) on a distal end surface thereof. The completely-retaining portion (23a) is engageable with a completely-engaging portion (13c) of a connector housing (13) to retain the terminal retainer (17) in a completely-engaging position relative to the connector housing (13). When the engagement-canceling tapering portion (23c) is pressed by a removal jig (25) which has been inserted in the connector housing through a jig insertion port (13e) so as to be disposed substantially in alignment with the engagement-canceling tapering portion (23c), the elastic retaining piece portion (23a) is retracted while elastically deformed in a direction causing the completely-retaining portion (23b) to be disengaged from the completely-engaging portion (13c).

    • A structure for locking two workpieces includes: a first workpiece 1 provided with a provisional locking arm 3 and a complete locking arm 4 which are in parallel; a second workpiece 2 provided with an arm receiving portion 5 having a provisional engaging area 15 and a complete engaging area 12 which are to be engaged with the provisional locking portion and the complete locking portion, respectively and a pair of arm guiding portions 6 and 7 on both sides of the arm receiving portion, the arm receiving portion being to advance in between the provisional locking arm and the complete locking arm. One of the arm guiding portions is provided with a slope 21 for slidably supporting a tip of the complete locking arm when the complete locking arm climbs over the complete engaging portion. In such a configuration, inadvertent complete-locking or release thereof of two workpieces can be prevented.

    • A lock releasing mechanism of a connector in which connector terminals are received in terminal receiving chambers respectively in a manner that tongue pieces of the connector terminals are in opposition to each other, and a wiring groove is provided in the outside of the terminal receiving chambers so that all of electric wires connected to the connector terminals are laid in the same direction, whereby the connector terminals can be made the same with each other in configuration to thereby reduce the cost. Further, by pushing a single lock releasing member, lock releasing levers are moved to thereby simultaneously urge the tongue pieces of the connector terminals in opposition to each other to release the connector terminals in a lump from locking with partner-side connection terminals, whereby the workability in maintenance can be improved.
