    • A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex capable of forming a dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an artomatic primary amine developing agent wherein the cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex contains at least one repeating unit represented by the general formula (I) described below and at least one repeating unit represented by the general formula (II) described below. ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a chlorine atom; and Q represents a cyan coupler residue capable of forming a dye upon coupling with an oxidized aromatic primary amine developing agent, ##STR2## wherein R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a chlorine atom; and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group which may be a straight chain, a branched chain or a cyclic, or an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl group.The cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex has an excellent color forming property, and the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material containing the cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex has good film strength and a reduced layer thickness and provides a cyan image having improved color reproduction properties and sharpness and a good fastness to heat with or without humidity. A method of forming a color image using the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is also described.

    • A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a support base having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan dye-forming oleophilic polymer coupler. The polymer coupler is comprised of three repeating units including a repeating unit of a cyan coupler corresponding to general formula (I), an ethylene type unsaturated monomer repeating unit corresponding to general formula (II) which contains an acid component and an ethylene type unsaturated monomer repeating unit corresponding to general formula (III). The cyan dye-forming oleophilic polymer coupler is present in the form of a dispersed product, said polymer coupler having been dissolved in an organic solvent followed by emulsion dispersion of a gelatine aqueous solution in the presence of a surfactant. The general formulae and their substituents are described in the specification. By utilizing the particularly disclosed polymer coupler, the material forms a color image having excellent fastness which respect to heat and wet heat when the image is in the form of a color photograph after development. The novel cyan color image forming oleophilic polymer coupler also makes it possible to obtain remarkably excellent color forming property in the photographic image.

    • The present invention provides a method for producing a safe lithographic printing plate that exhibits an excellent developability and an excellent processing performance. The present invention also provides a method for producing a lithographic printing plate which enables single liquid processing and in which the obtained plate does not exhibit an impaired printing durability, does not exhibit a decline in printing durability even when the printing plate is stored after development before printing, and can inhibit the appearance of fingerprint scumming. A method of producing a lithographic printing plate is provided comprising: imagewise photoexposing a negative-working lithographic printing plate precursor that has an image-recording layer containing the (i), (ii), (iii), and (iv) described below on a hydrophilic support; and treating thereafter the imagewise-photoexposed negative-working lithographic printing plate precursor with an aqueous solution that has a pH of 8.5 to 10.8 and that contains a low molecular weight hydroxycarboxylic acid ion, a pH buffer, and a surfactant: (i) sensitizing dye (ii) polymerization initiator (iii) an addition-polymerizable compound that has an ethylenically unsaturated double bond (iv) binder polymer.
