摘要： A stabilized p-phenylenediamine color developer solution having about 10 to 40 weight percent of a p-phenylenediamine free base color developer, about 40 to 70 weight percent of a hydroxy-containing organic solvent for the p-phenylenediamine free base color developer, and about 1 to 40 weight percent of a preservative for the p-phenylenediamine free base color developer, wherein the weight percentages are based on the total weight of the stabilized solution. Another aspect are processes for making stabilized p-phenylenediamine color developer solutions. Another embodiment is a p-phenylenediamine color developer solid having from 50 to about 99 weight percent of a p-phenylenediamine free base color developer, and from about 1 to 50 weight percent of a preservative for the p-phenylenediamine free base color developer, wherein the weight percentages are based on the total weight of the composition. Another aspect is a process for making the stabilized solid p-phenylenediamine color developer.

These compounds are devoid of diaminostilbene fragments or fused triazole nuclei. They are particularly useful in fixing and bleaching compositions in the processing of color photographic silver halide materials, but can be used in various other processing compositions.

摘要： A powdered, uniformly mixed photographic processing composition is prepared with intense mixing of dry photoprocessing chemical components, and by forming uniformly sized agglomerates of the mixed powder. During agglomeration, a solution of a binder material is applied in a controlled manner to enable the mixed powder particles to stick together but without leaving much residue in the final composition. With this process, the mixed powder and agglomerates each have desired uniformity in size and chemical composition. The resulting dry uniformly mixed composition is highly stable, dissolvable and substantially free of dust.

摘要： A new fogging photographic processing solution for a reversal process comprises a compound (I) and a bi-nucleophilic agent.
