    • An image recording medium is provided with an identifying index indicative of whether or not one side of the image recording medium is a front side coated with developing agent. In another image recording medium coated with developing agent, electrical resistance material is coated on at least one side of the image recording medium. In a detecting device for the another image recording medium, an electrode unit is provided for measuring electric conductivity of one side of the image recording medium. A control unit is connected to the electrode unit for identifying the image recording medium on the basis of the electric conductivity measured by the electrode unit. In another detecting device, a light emitting unit emits light with which at least one of front and back sides of an image recording medium is illuminated. A light receiving unit receives light reflected from the at least one side of the image recording medium. An identifying unit is connected to the light receiving unit for identifying the front and back sides and presence and absence of the image recording medium on the basis of the light received by the light receiving unit.

    • A photo and pressure sensitive recording medium comprising a base sheet, supporting thereon a color developing agent which reacts with a dye precursor to develop color and an adhesive substance with which the recording medium may be adhered to any suitable material or body. The color developing agent may be coated on one surface of the base sheet and adhesive is applied on the other surface of the base sheet. The adhesive substance may be of thermoplastic type or enveloped in microcapsules crushable under pressure. A peel-off sheet may be conted on the adhesive substance. Alternatively, the color developing agent and the adhesive substance may both be supported on one surface of the base sheet, as well as photo-curable microcapsules containing the dye precursor. The adhesive substance may also be enveloped in microcapsules which are ruptured under pressure to flow out the contained adhesive, with which the recording medium is bonded to a general-purpose sheet such as ordinary paper to provide a one-body recorded sheet.

    • A circuit substrate has three wiring layers, wherein a signal line is formed in a first wiring layer; a ground plane is formed in a second wiring layer; a resonant line is formed in a third wiring layer. A circumferential slit is formed in the ground plane, wherein an island electrode separated from the ground plane is formed inside the slit. The left end of the resonant line is connected to the island electrode through an interlayer-connecting via, while the right end of the resonant line is connected to the ground plane through an interlayer-connecting via. A transmission line (or a microstrip line) is formed using the signal line and the ground plane, and therefore a complex resonator is formed to embrace the transmission line. This achieves band elimination with regard to a signal component of a resonance frequency among signals propagating through the microstrip line. Thus, it is possible to form a noise suppression structure without mounting additional parts on the circuit substrate, and therefore it is possible to effectively eliminate power distribution noise and noise propagating through the signal line with a small and simple configuration.
