摘要： An antenna device includes a flat base body and a flat conductive body which is disposed on the base body and which has a polygonal shape such that a lower side opposed to a ground is shorter than an upper side. The conductive body includes a feeding point on the lower side and a slit which comprises an open end on the lower side in a vicinity of the feeding point. The slit includes a first slit portion which extends from the open end, a second slit portion which extends from an end of the first slit portion such that the second slit portion is turned to a perpendicular direction with respect to the first slit portion, and a third slit portion which extends from an end of the second slit portion such that the third slit portion is turned to a perpendicular direction with respect to the second slit portion.

This starting material glass plate is polished so as to have a long-wavelength waviness of not more than 6 nm using CeO2 abrasive grains having a mean grain diameter of not less than 0.01 μm and a 90% diameter of the volume grain size distribution of not less than 0.02 μm. The resulting substrate for an information recording medium has an excellent planarity, can be obtained in a short time and with a low polishing amount, and the resulting information recording medium is able to cope with increased data zone recording density.

摘要： A process for manufacturing derivatives of 2-phenyl-4,5-oxazoledione 4-phenylhyrazone is disclosed. The process comprises reacting a derivative of a benezenediazonium salt, a hippuric acid derivative, and acetic anhydride in the presence of a neutralizing agent to effect the cyclization reaction for the formation of the oxazolone ring and the succeeding diazo-coupling reaction. The process does not require the conventional separate, independent step for the preparation of a solution of a hippuric acid derivative and acetic anhydride, thus eliminating the quick heating and quenching procedures and further avoiding the loss of the hippuric acid derivative due to decomposition of the oxazolone derivative. There is thus obtained a high yield of the desired product in a short period of time.
