摘要： Embodiments of devices and methods for correcting a vertebral member and/or repositioning a vertebral device relative to the vertebral member. A vertebral device has been previously positioned relative to a vertebral member. Due to subsidence or other factors, the vertebral device has moved and is no longer in alignment. A positioning device is used for re-positioning the vertebral device. A delivery device is used for inserting a material to the vertebral member and/or vertebral device. The material is initially in a first state that is flowable to allow for insertion to the required location. The material changes to a second state that permanently fixes the position of the vertebral device relative to the vertebral member.

摘要： Systems and methods for tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) are disclosed. According to some embodiments, an osteotomy method may include cutting a tibia with an arcuate cut to separate a tibial plateau of the tibia from a tibial base of the tibia, rotating the tibial plateau relative to the tibial base from a first orientation to a second orientation, and, with the tibial plateau in the second orientation relative to the tibial base, securing an implant to the tibia to secure the tibial plateau to the tibial base. Securing the implant to the tibia may include embedding a first leg of the implant into the tibial base, and embedding a second leg of the implant into the tibial plateau such that the first and second legs apply compression urging the tibial plateau toward the tibial base.

摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus for substantially horizontally oscillating one or more multi-well plates containing a liquid, a solid, or a mixture thereof that operates to thoroughly disrupt solid substances in multi-well plates. The apparatus provides oscillation of plates in a horizontal direction through the use of springs and rotating mechanical components. The apparatus includes a circular rotating ring having a toothed circumference that rotates horizontally, plate holder, and a spring attached to the housing and in constant contact with the plate holder. The apparatus can be used in a cold room or placed in a refrigerator to keep the substances at low temperature and to eliminate noise when the disruptor operates.

摘要： A centrifuge having two arcuate slots to receive resilient, bendable mounting flanges that each carry a plurality of test tubes in side by side relation. The resilience of the mounting flanges enables them to flex and assume either the curvature of the slot, or a linear configuration enabling the flanges to be suspended in a flat condition, such as on a test rack. The arrays of test tubes is attached to the flanges via living hinges that enable the flexing to occur. The advantages are that simplified identification of individual test tubes, as well as reduced likelihood of intermixing of spillage are realized.

摘要： An apparatus and procedures for percutaneous placement of surgical implants and instruments such as, for example, screws, rods, wires and plates into various body parts using image guided surgery. The invention includes an apparatus for use with a surgical navigation system, an attaching device rigidly connected to a body part, such as the spinous process of a vertebrae, with an identification superstructure rigidly but removably connected to the attaching device. This identification superstructure, for example, is a reference arc and fiducial array which accomplishes the function of identifying the location of the superstructure, and, therefore, the body part to which it is fixed, during imaging by CAT scan or MRI, and later during medical procedures.
