摘要： Catheter for delivery of a medical device such as a stent or filter includes an inner tubular member and an outer tubular member movable relative to the inner tubular member. The outer tubular member is disposed at the distal end of the inner tubular member. The inner tubular member includes a fluid lumen defined therein, the fluid lumen having a fluid flow port directed to the exterior surface of the inner tubular member. A pressure chamber is defined by the inner tubular member, the outer tubular member, a proximal seal and a distal seal, and is in fluid communication with the fluid flow port, wherein fluid introduced through the fluid flow port and into the pressure chamber applies a force on the proximal seal to move the outer tubular member in a proximal direction allowing the medical device constrained by the outer tubular member to be released.

摘要： An implantable lumen filter (200) is described. The implantable lumen filter includes a body (202) having a proximal end (202a), a distal end (202b), and a generally tapered outer surface (204). The outer surface is formed by a plurality of struts (206a, 206b). The plurality of struts forms a plurality of apertures (210). The apertures are dimensioned to inhibit and/or to lyse particulates of a selected size from passing through the apertures. The body (202) is transitionable from a collapsed state toward a deployed state. The implantable lumen filter includes an engaging portion (220) having a proximal end (220a) and a distal end (220b). The proximal end of the engaging portion is connected to a distal end of the body. The engaging portion has a generally annular shape and is configured to engage an inner surface of a body lumen.

摘要： Disclosed herein are methods and devices for securing soft tissue to a rigid material such as bone. A bone anchor is described that comprises a base and a top such that suture material may be compressed between surfaces on the base and top to secure the suture to the anchor. Also described is an inserter that can be used to insert the bone anchor into bone and move the anchor top relative to the anchor base to clamp suture material there between. Also described is a soft-tissue and bone piercing anchor and associated inserter. Methods are described that allow use of the bone anchors to provide multiple lengths of suture material to compress a large area of soft tissue against bone.

摘要： A self-contained portable unit for producing a mixture of substances in response to two separate flows includes a portable trailer upon which a holding tank is mounted. Various additive channels are maintained on the trailer for introducing additives, at selectable concentrations or rates, into a first flow which occurs through an inlet conduit connected to an input of the holding tank. Connected to an output of the holding tank is an outlet conduit to which an external blender device can be connected. The trailer has additional additive channels contained thereon for introducing further additives, at selectable concentrations or rates, into a second flow between the holding tank and the external device. Control of the additives is maintained by a microcomputer-based controller or a manual, back-up controller, whichever is switchably selected for each additive channel.

The suture may be attached at the tip of the anchor by tying it to a wire hook secured in a cavity in the anchor tip. The anchor may be inserted and deployed using an anchor inserter that is configured to apply an axial force to the anchor, thereby deforming the anchor to form the lateral wings.
