摘要： Disclosed are valve replacement devices, systems, and methods. Valve replacement devices may comprise one- or two-piece systems comprising an adapter body and a valve assembly with leaflets positioned within the adapter body. In two-piece systems, the valve assembly may be removable from the adapter body such that both can be delivered together or separately, and the adapter body may remain implanted while the valve assembly may be removed and replaced (i.e., “revalved”). Also described are devices (such as a delivery catheter device), systems, and methods related to such delivering and revalving the valve replacement. Such delivery methods may include transseptal insertion of a new minimum leaflet structure, and securement of the valve replacement using several securement type (e.g., supra-annular, sub-annular, radial, leaflet securement, etc.). Also described is a braided helical design that mimics the heart's natural movement, and a flange structure for assisting the functioning of the valve replacement.

摘要： Fixation device for fixation of leaflets of a heart valve, the fixation device including a central element defining a central axis. The fixation device further includes a distal portion including at least one arm coupled to the central element, wherein the at least one arm is moveable to a selected position between a fully open position and a fully closed position. The distal portion further includes at least one leg operatively coupled to the at least one arm and configured to move the at least one arm to the selected position between the fully open position and the fully closed position. The at least one arm includes a contact portion configured to engage native heart valve tissue, the contact portion defining a contact portion axis. The distal portion includes a flexure portion configured to enable the contact portion in the selected position to move within a flex angle range between an undeformed contact portion angle relative to the central axis and a flexed contact portion angle relative to the central axis. The flexed contact portion angle is greater than the undeformed contact portion angle. The flex angle range is about 10 degrees to about 45 degrees. The fixation device further includes at least one gripping element moveable relative to the at least one arm to capture a native leaflet therebetween.

The delivery tool is configured to deliver the anchor to the heart of the subject, and to drive the anchor into tissue of the heart. The data-processing system is adapted to, subsequently to the delivery tool delivering the anchor to the heart, receive, via the delivery tool, a first electrical signal from the anchor, at the tissue, the anchor serving as an electrode. The data-processing system is adapted to receive, via the delivery tool, a second electrical signal from a distal part of the delivery tool within the heart. The data-processing system is adapted to, responsively to both the first signal and the second signal, determine a location of the anchor within the heart, and provide an output indicative of the location. 摘要： Systems, devices and methods are presented for embolic protection. In some embodiments, a device for implantation in a patient's vessel containing a fluid flow is provided which comprises proximal and distal ends, an undeployed, substantially linear state, and a deployed, spring-like (helical) state comprising windings. When the device is deployed, the line segment connecting the proximal and distal ends is approximately perpendicular to the majority of the windings and to the fluid flow. In some embodiments, a delivery device for the monofilament device is provided. The delivery device comprises a needle having a lumen, a sharp distal end, and a pusher slidable within the needle. A method for deploying the monofilament device using the delivery device is provided.

摘要： A method of delivering a prosthetic heart valve to the aortic valve annulus while a patient's heart is beating is disclosed. The method includes accessing the left ventricle through an intercostal incision and forming a puncture in the left ventricle. A guidewire is advanced into the left ventricle and through the native aortic valve. An introducer is passed over the guidewire and into the left ventricle. A valve delivery device is advanced over the guidewire and through the introducer until a prosthetic heart valve positioned thereon is located within the native aortic valve. The prosthetic heart valve is then radially expanded within the aortic valve annulus for replacing the function of the native aortic valve.
