    • The projection type display device includes a light source tube having electron beam generation means and a light-emitting portion consisting of a fluorescent layer emitting light by means of electron beam excitation, a light valve for forming an optical image corresponding to a picture signal, and an optical system for projecting upon a screen the optical image of the light valve by means of the light irradiated from the light source tube. The convex lens is disposed between the light valve and the light-emitting portion, such that the diffusing light emitted from the light emitting portion is condensed toward the light valve. As a result, the diffusing light from the light-emitting portion having a smaller area than the area of the light valve is supplied to the light valve in a substantially parallel beam. Further, the reflection layer for reflecting and condensing the diffusing light emitted from the light-emitting portion toward the light valve may be provided. Furthermore, the projection type display device includes a light source tube including within a single housing an electron beam generation means and a plurality of light emitting portions consisting of fluorescent layers emitting light of distinct colors, respectively, by means of electron beam excitation, light valves for forming optical images corresponding to picture signals of the respective colors, and a prism for synthesizing optical images of distinct colors of the light valves made by a plurality of light beams irradiated from the light source.

    • A circuit breaker for a double-break mechanism includes a current interrupting section having a contact mechanism. The contact mechanism includes first and second fixed contactors arranged in parallel and having fixed contacts, and a bridging movable contactor having an arm with movable contacts opposing the fixed contacts. A magnetic plate may be interposed in a middle region between two pairs of the fixed and movable contacts extending along a path of switching movement of the movable contactor. Partition walls formed of organic polymer material may be provided to stand along the path of the movable contactor. The partition walls sandwich each pair of the fixed contact and the movable contact to form a narrow gap arc extinguishing space between the partition walls.

    • An input pen of data input tablet comprising a magnetic core which is positioned at the data input tablet side end of a pen case and passes a magnetic flux generated from the data input tablet, a conductive holder for holding this core, a detection coil wound around on the core, and a lead wire led out from the coil in close contact with the holder. The magnetic flux generated by the current flowing into electrodes formed in the data input tablet is detected by the detection coil, thereby detecting a position on the data input tablet. A protective tube which covers at least the detection coil and magnetic core to protect the coil and core is also provided. An annular shield case formed of metal or other conductive material and functioning as an electromagnetic and electrostatic shield near the protective tube is provided in another embodiment.

    • Provided is a circuit breaker capable of minimizing a change in the structure of, for example, a case even when a material (thermal conductivity) forming a stud is changed.A stud (20) includes a base portion (21) that is provided in a case (2) and a protruding portion (22) that protrudes from the case (2). The cross-sectional area of the protruding portion (22) is more than that of the base portion (21). When the cross-sectional area of the protruding portion (22) is more than that of the base portion (21) in the stud (20), the thermal conductivity of the protruding portion (22) increases and it is possible to increase the thermal conductivity from the protruding portion (22) to an external conductor connected to the stud. In addition, since the surface area of the protruding portion (22) increases, the amount of heat dissipated from the protruding portion (22) increases. In this case, since the dimensions of the base portion (21) inserted into a stud insertion hole (2b) of the case (2) do not vary, it is not necessary to change the dimensions of the insertion hole (2b) of the case (2). Therefore, it is possible to minimize a change in the structure of a component even when the material forming the stud is changed.
