摘要： A cannulated osteotome for cutting a bone surface in which two circular depressions have been previously reamed comprising a cutting blade in the form of a continuous loop having two arcuate end surfaces and two straight lateral surfaces that depends from a body that includes two cannulae in the form of two parallel passageways that extend transversely through the body. Stops extend beyond the opposite arcuate ends of the cutting blade which determine the depth to which the cutting blade can be inserted into the surface of bone from which the circular depressions have been reamed. There is described a method of inserting an implant having a substantially flat undersurface from which two pegs protrude into a surface of a bone using such an osteotome.

摘要： Low molecular weight (LMW) peptides have been discovered that are indicative of neurological conditions, such as Alzheimer's Disease (AD), cognitive impairment and brain microhemmorhages. Evaluating patient samples for the presence of such LMW peptides is an effective means of detecting neurological conditions and monitoring the progression of the disease. The LMW peptides are particularly useful in detecting neurological conditions during the early stages without invasive procedures.

A satellite radio may be able to receive channels from a satellite network as well as over an IP-based network. The device can be configured to tune multiple channels selected from the channels available to the device over these networks based on the user's preferences. The user preferences can be compared to at least the metadata of the channels available to the device in order to identify the channels that best match the user's preferences. The channels identified in this manner are then tuned and recorded on the device. A user may then be notified of the recorded content.

An independent match precharge voltage is introduced to the CAM, which is used to separately precharge the match line and is available for use by comparison circuits to attempt to match the input tag. The match precharge voltage is selected so as to reduce the relative power consumption for match line precharge and discharge by a factor of about five. Optionally, sense amplifiers in the comparison circuits are disposed so as to compare each discharged match line with the match precharge voltage itself.
