    • An anti-flooding safety device includes two connection bodies, a valve arrangement that includes a valve member, a retention member for withholding the valve member in a respective opening position, and an inner hose and an outer hose impermeable to water. The inner hose hydraulically connects the two connection bodies and extends at least in part within the outer hose so that defined between the two hoses is a gap designed to withhold inside it any possible leaking water. A connection body has a control chamber that is at least in part delimited by a movable element, and a control member is coupled to the movable element so that a displacement of the latter will cause a displacement of the control member towards a respective position of release, wherein the valve member is free to pass into its closing position. The gap is in fluid communication with the control chamber, to obtain a substantially closed volume therewith.

    • An anti-flooding safety device for a user apparatus includes: a first connection body defining a first duct, the first duct having an inlet and an outlet, the inlet of the first duct being provided for connection to a supply point of a mains supply. An inner flexible hose and an outer flexible hose are impermeable to water, wherein the inner hose has a proximal end, which is sealingly fixed in a position corresponding to the outlet of the first duct, and a distal end for connection to the user apparatus, and wherein the inner hose extends longitudinally within the outer hose so that between at least part of the two hoses a gap is defined designed to convey to the user apparatus and/or to withhold inside it any possible leaking water. A valve arrangement on the first connection body can be switched from a position of opening of the first duct to a position of closing of the first duct following upon detection of a leakage of water. The axis of the inlet extends in a direction transverse to the axis of the outlet.

    • The invention relates to a multi-dosing detergent delivery device. In embodiments of the present invention, the multi-dosing detergent delivery device comprises: a housing comprising a base and a lid; a refill holder and shaft located within the housing and arranged, in use, for receiving thereon a cartridge having a plurality X of chambers each accommodating a detergent composition; a directing means formed in the lid of said device to direct, in use, wash liquor collected on said lid selectively into a chamber of the cartridge to contact the detergent composition therein; an outlet formed in a base region of said housing to allow, in use, detergent loaded wash liquor to exit the device; and indexing means located within the shaft of the device for causing, in use, automatic movement of said cartridge relative to said housing during and subsequent to a wash cycle so as to cause a neighboring chamber to be in an exposed, ready to be used, position prior to a next washing cycle, said indexing means comprising: a thermally reactive element, a resilient biasing means, a gearing mechanism and a clutch element for selectively decoupling torque forces generated by expansion of said thermally reactive element from said shaft.

The specific improvement to the device comprises a shutter mechanism (310, 320, 330) for blocking or obstructing passage of water/wash liquor from said directing means (3, 34) to the selected chamber (210) during part of a wash cycle so as to avoid a problem of detergent held within the chamber (210) from being washed out or diluted during a pre-wash cycle of a dishwasher.
