摘要： According to an aspect of the invention, a latching mechanism/device is provided, as well as a method of maintaining a closed position between opposing first and second portions of a container. The latching mechanism includes a latch attached to the first portion and a latch keeper integrally molded to the second portion. The latch keeper includes an elongated keeper slot and a recessed pocket formed in the keeper slot, such that when at least a portion of the latch is received within the recessed pocket, the container is closed and/or sealed.

摘要： A vehicle door lock device includes: a housing having an opening; a coupling member configured to be coupled to an operation mechanism arranged on a door; an operation lever arranged inside the housing and coupled to the coupling member through the opening; and a cover capable of opening and closing the opening and a coupling point between the coupling member and the operation lever. The cover is separate from the housing and assembled to the housing to be mountable on and demountable from the housing and rotatable between opened and closed states. Each of the housing and the cover includes: a temporary retaining mechanism to temporarily retain the cover in the opened state when the cover is assembled to the housing in a rotatable manner; and a full retaining mechanism configured to retain the cover in the closed state when the cover is rotatably assembled to the housing.

摘要： A locking assembly for a galley container includes: a picklock arranged on a first galley container part, a locking mechanism arranged on a second galley container part for engaging the picklock, the first and second galley container parts being moveable towards and away from each other to close and open the galley container, the locking mechanism being moveable between a release position, wherein the picklock is released from the locking mechanism, and a lock position wherein the locking mechanism can engage the picklock to lock the first container part to the second container part, characterized in that a blocking element is provided that in a block position prevents the locking mechanism from moving to the lock position and in an unblock position allows the locking mechanism to move to the lock position. A galley container provided with such a locking assembly is also described.

The first alignment feature is configured to laterally displace the latch in a first direction such that the first reference surface aligns with the first alignment surface when the lid is brought together with the housing with the fastener laterally displaced away from the engagement element in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction.
